@mnblu I had the same experience with Anoka. Anoka was my first choice however when I applied last year they denied me saying my classes did not transfer over, however Century accepted them no problem. It was very frustrating because Anoka Ramsey is closer for commuting for me. About accessing the acceptance contract, I was only able to sign the metro state contract for MANE and the Century link (tiny.url....) I was not able to open. I contacted the counselor at Century and she said if you come to a login page for Microsoft (which I did) you need to log in with your [email protected] student email address and your StarID password and the page should load for you. I tried this and the page was unable to load because I was locked out of my account having too many failed attempts to log in. I hope this helps! Congratulations on your acceptance!! @KariTomy Thank you!! Fingers crossed for you on acceptance at Century. Less commuting is far better and time better spent with family. When I applied last year I was wait listed at Century and they emailed me the number I was at. I was calling/emailing with the counselor there at Century pretty consistently since I was applying from out of state (CA) and I didn't know about the delay last year in getting out letters. She was the one who sent me the notice about being waitlisted and the number I was at. I hope that helps and I have heard Century can drag their feet a bit when letters are about to be sent out. All I can say is be persistent and if you need an excellent counselor I recommend -----------------. She is absolutely amazing!! Hands down I think she is a counselor that actually helps students and assists them in the applying or in the other details of process when going to school. Let me know if you have any other questions, otherwise I am sending good thoughts and good energy your way that you will get into Century.

So bummed for the people who didn't get in. ? For people who are waitlisted (at least at Century), there is hope! Last year when I applied to Century college I was waitlisted at #4 and was offered a spot. The counselor told me the first 20 typically are offered a spot. However my husband and I were not in a position to move and take the spot. After moving back in state I applied to this fall cohort. Congratulations to all who got into their programs! I applied only to Century college with a 4.0 and a 78.8 on my TEAS. I was accepted and will be starting this fall. Looking forward to meeting my classmates! ?

Hello future nurses! I applied to Century for the fall of 2020. I applied with a 4.0 and a 78.8% on the TEAS. I was accepted into the MANE program for fall. Has anyone else heard back or applied for fall?

Wowza that is busy! Kudos to you and kudos two fold because full time mama is the HARDEST job there is. There are no sick days or holiday pay days...just saying. I agree! I applied to Anoka Ramsey as well but was flat out denied admission. I think partly because my transcripts and classes had not been evaluated appropriately. For Century I had to file a request for exception to admission requirements because my grades in the higher level biology classes like Micro were better than my Gen Bio. so I could improve my application GPA. The counselor there rocked (Star). She was so helpful and always answered back to emails or phone calls promptly. She was temporary at Century. Its been a couple years since taking the TEAS so studying for it again (many cups of coffee later) will be time consuming. My daughter is learning to walk at the moment and I work full time night shift so its a lot of work. But doable. We got this ?

I hear ya there. You will get in, sending positive vibes. Can't go wrong with positive energy ? You have good scores. I need to retake my TEAS if I don't get offered admission for fall. My TEAS was 78.8% and my GPA was 4.0 for application. I will reapply for Spring if fall doesn't pan out. I think the waiting is the hardest part but all in all we will get there. We just can't give up! Have you applied to MANE programs before? The competition is tough.

Yes I grew up in MN, went to high school and college (the first time I attended) then moved around the states with my husband for his job. Our plan is to move back to MN this year, pending I would be accepted into school (student loans then go into deferment thank goodness). I have not attended Century before. This is my first time applying to a MANE program. Long story short, I was in a nursing program here in CA but had to step out due to having my daughter. All of our family is back in MN, hence the move back so we can have more support. Goodness the waiting is the hardest!! Thank you for the good vibes. It sounds like you have a solid offer at a few schools. Do you know if most MANE schools have the same set criteria? Being an out of state applicant stinks but I believe once I'm there the counselor told me can petition for in state tuition rates if you have x, y, and or z. Fingers crossed it will all work out. I keep trying to stay positive but after receiving this letter today, it didn't help.

I just received my letter from Century today ( I am currently living in California). After reading the previous posts with everyones scores I was surprised I was put on the waitlist. I was working with the counselor Star Poindexter ( she left Century last year) who helped me figure out how to transfer courses and she complied my composite score of 11.87. I don't understand how I'm wait listed. Is anyone else in a similar situation? Also in the letter it states, they would like to reconsider my application for program admission, placing me on a temporary wait list....Is this the waitlist we would find out about the order after the 10th of April? Thank you everyone for all the updated information throughout these past two weeks. Its been stressful waiting for a letter to come.

I am scheduled to take it January 10th. Do you have any advice in taking the TEAS 6 from the 5? I purchased the practice tests through ATI both A & B. I'm hoping that will boost my score. Practice tests I'm in the 80s. Did you find anyone on YouTube that has posted helpful info for studying for the test? Rachel P. is really good! Are you applying to other schools other than CSUEB?

I received my admission and acceptance package as well from the university. Nursing CAS has also emailed me to notify me that I have applied before the deadline. So just TEAS to do, my goal is 92 and then its just waiting! :)

Hello Courtney in CA, I would love any helpful advice you have to pass along! I find that even though I have experience in the field, mastering the classes with A's and getting a good TEAS test is only a portion of the actual application process. I get worried that somewhere on my application I will have forgotten to fill out a portion on the nursing application, which will therefore make my application incomplete. Hello all! I will be applying to CSUEB, Sac State, Sonoma and SF State this fall. My number one choice is East Bay but I am flexible to move. Going back to school after plan A, becoming a physical therapist, fell through. I work work per diem in an ER right now and have 12 years of CNA experience. I volunteer at a mobile clinic on the weekends when I'm not working and currently took up another volunteer experience working in hospice care, since SF State prefers 2 volunteer experiences (correct me if I'm wrong). I am very excited to apply and finally move forward in my career. I've worked in several different areas of hospitals and hoping my experience both personal and work will help with my application. Pre-req GPA: 3.82 (taking Micro and Stats this fall) TEAS: haven't taken yet I feel as though there are so many things left to do before we apply.
