I wish there we're colleges in OK that had programs like this!
1: Start August 27 @ Ukiah Adult School
2: 18 months, but really only 14-15 months when you count in the holiday and summer breaks (August 2012-January 2014)
3: I've been interested in pursuing a career in nursing for many years but was too scared to try.. Silly! I'm planning to bridge to RN later.
4: Tuition & books = $6000. Uniforms, physical/immunizations, graduation fees are not included.

September 11 @ NYCDOE LPN program Goldwater Hospital
11 months
I wanted a career where I could wake up every morning knowing I would make a difference in this selfish world by being selfless and helping the sick and injured.
2500.00 but if you get one of the scholarships they offer every year then it's free
My program starts August 2oth
My school is Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction Colorado
The program is 9 months long and costs roughly $7,000
I am becoming an LPN as a first step in the university's career ladder program where you can gain preferred entry into the AAS and BSN programs. Ultimately I would like to be either a Nurse Midwife or a Nurse Practitioner. I have already been grilled as to why I'd want to be an LPN and not just go for RN. Honestly, I'm 37 years old and don't have the luxury of years to spend on prerequisites for the BSN program like all the 20 year-olds do. I need to enter the workforce as soon as possible. Plus, I believe it will benefit me to experience nursing at all levels. I was a CNA previously and I believe that having been a CNA will make me appreciate the ones who I will work with more.
Hello!!
I'm doing an RPN program here in Ontario, Canada
1. Mohawk College, Hamilton ON September 5th
2. 2 years (4 semesters), will be finished April 2014
3. I've always wanted to be a nurse. If I have to work every day, I want to spend it helping others and making a difference. I also am very interested in medical things.
4. In total, about $8,500 CAD
:)
Good Morning (or Afternoon, depending on your time zone, I'm on the EC) everyone!1. I start the Practical Nursing program at Everest Institute in Southfield, MI on September 4, 2012. Orientation is August 7.
2. The program length is 11 months. The graduation date given is August 16, 2013.
3. I am becoming an LPN in order to facilitate a career in nursing. I am currently on a waiting list for an RN program, but who has time to wait? Once I am licensed, I am eligible for advanced placement in the very program I am waitlisted for. I plan to get my ASN, BSN, and then seek a higher degree to become a GNP or CRNA. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, but I do plan to be an advanced practice nurse.
i too start the lpn program soon.i start august first and graduation is june 24,2013 i am so excited to further my career,i also would like to be an RN
