Congrats on getting in. I'm going to Metro Tech in OKC and we get an iPad but we have to return it at the end of the year. So make sure you don't have to return it! LOL
Just got confirmation from our instructor the brand new iPad 2's are ours to keep and come loaded with apps purchased by the school. Yipeeeeeee!

What kind of apps did they put on there??
Not sure. We won't get them till the program starts August 16. I'll definitely post what they include. She also said they have a bunch of recommendations so I'll post everything as soon as I know. I figure we could all use as much help as possible :)

1- Start Aug 20th @ TECO in Kissimmee, FL.
2-My program is 11 months.
3- I've wanted to be a nurse since I was 16 and I'm turning 27 next month. It's literally been my dream but life has gotten in the way several times!
4- It's a little over $6,000 but I don't know the exact amount. Orientation is July 12-so excited!

As many others one day to become a RN
$11,000 est. with books and everything
Cool. It scared the life out of me. LOL. But it also made me more motivated at the same time. I really don't know where the fear came from because I have past medical experience but I also know this is going to be different. Do you have any tips, suggestions, etc? I hope I get to start for Aug 2012 because I am in a temp-perm position right now and I don't know how long everything will last for. However, I don't want to give up the opportunity either. I'm torn.
