Moving this to CA forum.

Just came back from the CAT exam, it was not that bad, just the reading is long and you have to focus. The acceptance letters go out in May...oh boy....I hate this wait.

tokidoki if you dont mind, how many points do you have?

70 w/o the exam, if I pass, I will have 80 points. There are 400+applicants this year and they are only selecting 25. how many points do you have? is this the only school you are applying?

I applied to LAHC, LA County, Glendale, LA Valley College, El Camino College.

I'm getting ready for the TEAS, sucks that we have to take two separate tests.

Yeah, LA County is converting to TEAS soon, but not this year. how are you studying for the TEAS? did you get any books or just strictly online? I wonder if it's harder than the CAT exam?

Hi, Tiger! I applied to LAHC, too! That's the school I'm attending right now and I really like it. My friend got into the program for the current semester and even though it's really hard--she loves it. Let me know if you get any word from LAHC, OK! Good Luck!

G~

same here I finished all my pre-req's at harbor. DR. MCCORD screwed it up for me, I'm near the cut off line because of him!

I would love to go to harbor college, but as of now there are 700 applicants and only 60 will be accepted. i think...

Hey tokidiko,

i have a question you said you have 70 points without the exam?? thats really good but im pretty sure the exam is worth 20 points so that means that instead of 80 i think you have 90. Thats an almost perfect score because i know if you get A's on all the classes from the prereqs and you pass the exam for all 20 points it equals 93! congrats on that!! and one last thing i know you said there were 400+ applicants and they only select 25.. is that what someone at county said???? that worries me.. i only have 82 points..including everything

What have you heard about their program at LA County? Very possitive? Are the teachers helpful? Just curious to hear some feedback. Thanks.

it seems as if everyone has high points, this worries me...
