Hey jayeda Congrats on passing your exam! And TRUST me we all hope the cut off is 79! Did they tell you for sure by June we would know?? Thanks -iliana =)

Yeah, according to the letter, the acceptance letter will go out beginning in June.

I asked during the orientation and they said that so far they had a few hundred. I don't know if they had more. I just really want to get in so hopefully not too much.

Ya, hopefully we all get in! lol but did they also mention how many applicants they were actually going to accept?? thanks

p.s. sorry for all the questions i never attended any of the information sessions and this time around since i didnt have to retake the CAT exam i didnt get any information for this application period. thanks again

25 get accepted. Over 400+ applied.

Only 25? WOW! I remember them saying like 50 to 60 with three alternates. I guess I just heard what I wanted to hear. I didn't know it was that low.

Get used to their politics and their "rules"...it gets worse once you become a student. Just a warning

Hey Fabricia,

lol what do you mean get used to their "rules" hows it been so far for you!?!? thanks

-iliana =]

Totally confused Fabricia. Can you explain?

Has anybody who took the CAT exam on March 20th heard if they passed or not? They gave us envelopes to address to ourselves with our test results. I'm checking my mailbox everyday....yet, NOTHING!!!

Basically, when I started there I was so excited, I felt proud and sure I was going to get the best education out there since it has been the case for many years and the school's reputation is great. Well things have changed I guess...as a current student there I am very disappointed in their approach used in educating us. I feel like I'm teaching myself most of what I know, and that the majority of the instructors, with a few exceptions, are not there to help us, but to make it harder for us so we can either fail or quit. There is no kindness from their part, and there is an unecessary amount of stress that is put upon us as nursing students. Good luck, you will need it if you go there...just kiss ass and keep your mouth shut (two things I've never been able to do and have to say that if this nursing school has taught me anything, that is probably the main one). that's why they say, if you make it at County you can make it anywhere, not because it is "good education" necessarily, but because it is so challenging and you are so on your own that if you are not used to that kind of education, you will have a difficult time :-).
