Thanks, I will try that! I am going to write more than just that. Issues of inability to pay for meds or food and creates a dangerous situation and so on. I have bunch of social security articles from nursing but non are journals. Argh! What is S&S?

Position of the paper is pro social security for geriatrics. Without they would be in trouble. For example, it lifts many elderly out of poverty. I found really good articles but I need nursing journal with 5 year recency. Without it, I'd fail. It is worth 10% of total grade.

Hello all, I have a research paper due and topic is social security and geriatrics. I have most of the material and I know what I want to write but I can't find a nursing journal to support my views. I need an article from nursing journal and it has to be within last 5 years. I've searched everywhere and nothing. Please help!

I am going into week 2 and trying not to have a panic attack. We had clinicals on the first week back and it was super tough. I take forever doing prep sheets. Anyone have suggestions how to do it in shorter amount of time? It is not feasible to do prep sheets on 5 pts taking 3 hours each especially since we pick pts day before.

Has anyone made an appointment for the health clearance or even showed up to the appointment? It said it should take 2 and half hours. I am wondering what they are doing that takes so long. I thought we need to get everything before we go so its covered.

I just got the letter today. I am in pending the health clearance. How did you score on the entrance? I did get 13.5+ on all section and my science gpa is around 3.8. Don't give up. She told me if I did not get in this semester, I would get in next semester for sure so you should get in. The new application period already started so I would call them and tell them to keep your file open. Why don't you go and give them a visit. If they put a face to the name, you might have a better chance even if she says its full. Someone told me, that someone begged her and she got in. It is worth a try.

I received the letter on 7-02 and it said I did not qualify and I had 80 points but I was welcome to attend the preregistration which was on Friday. I got a phone call that day saying that she was going to send me an acceptance letter. I don't know if all the ones in the waiting list got in or not but I think the fact that I attended the prereg helped me if not actually getting me into the program.

I had 80 points too. However I got a call soon after pre registration and I got in. I don't know about others. I scored maximum on the entrance exam and my science grades are high.

Only 25? WOW! I remember them saying like 50 to 60 with three alternates. I guess I just heard what I wanted to hear. I didn't know it was that low.

I asked during the orientation and they said that so far they had a few hundred. I don't know if they had more. I just really want to get in so hopefully not too much.

Yeah, according to the letter, the acceptance letter will go out beginning in June.
