Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

I signed up to take Micro this summer. The schedule isn't ideal, it's 4 days a week (M-Th 8:30-1pm) but I really wanted to get it done and over with. I think I signed up with Crowder?? Hopefully she's as good as her reviews say she is.

Pharm I'm currently taking with Noeller at NH. LOVE her and would recommend her to anyone. She allows notes on the lecture exams and really wants you to do well.

Which is really strange because why would you change the system right as deadline is due because lvn got their letters on the 1st/2nd of April!

She will give you fill in the blank lecture notes that you will fill out throughout class. She loves her subject and is very entertaining.

Yes HESI only lasts 1 yr, I had to retake HESI to apply to the transition program.

Here are the textbooks I use in my pharmacology class.

Currently taking it at NH with Professor Rita Cinquemani. Would totally recommend! She gives you 4 dosage calculation exams worth 10% of the grade which is SUPER HELPFUL. She also allows you to bring notes on exam days and your choice of drug book. I went with the 2018 edition of Pearson’s since it’s been recently updated. Hope this helps!
