Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Currently taking it at NH with Professor Rita Cinquemani. Would totally recommend! She gives you 4 dosage calculation exams worth 10% of the grade which is SUPER HELPFUL. She also allows you to bring notes on exam days and your choice of drug book. I went with the 2018 edition of Pearson’s since it’s been recently updated. Hope this helps!
I totally second this! I am in her class as well on Monday's

I got the Dosage Calculation Book. You don't need the access code. I also got the 2015 Edition Pearson's drug book and I also got the Davis drug book. But you are fine with either book and it doesn't have to be the newest edition for the class. I just wouldn't get one older than like 5 years. I did rent the pharmacology and the nursing process book. I don't know if it comes with an access code but if it does don't get it. Any other book that is on there is optional. However, you will have to purchase one access code online to Evolve online. It about $100.00 but its where all the discussion posts, quizzes, notes, and other stuff. I would wait until the course starts to purchase that.
