  1. Oh it’s the last semester for me so there’s my motivation LOL, can’t wait for it to be over. Well over for now, my BSN program starts in January ? I do hope you guys breeze through with no issues despite the craziness happening at the moment.
  2. It’s over 100 hours that we have to complete each semester. Not sure of the total. We stopped going Mid March in level 3 but of course KW supplemented with excessive case studies ? we have yet to hear anything right now on whether we’ll be going to clinical (which I doubt we will) so we’ll likely be group chatting with our instructors, doing more case studies and virtual simulations as our “clinical” time.
  3. Right now everything is online due to Covid.. I’m in my last semester and this is the first time we’ll be starting completely online (besides when Covid initially hit which was mid March) so I’m not sure how it’s gonna go right now but “on campus“ KW is tough. I must admit it’s the harder program out of all the locations. I work, but only 3 days a week but I’m hanging in there. All depends on your situation and whether you have children and whatnot. But to answer your question, lecture is only 2 hours long 2 days a week. We’re done with lab after the first year so we don’t have to worry about that at this point. I also couldn’t tell you what Lab is like for first year students because I didn’t complete my first year at KW but at NH. Clinical is one day a week 10 hour day. Hope this helps.
  4. No problem! If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, I’m in the program at &Kingwood right now.
  5. They’re slight nursing style questions so there’s really no way to study for it but to just practice NCLEX style priority questions, such as, who would you see first. Also, all answers are correct but what’s most correct or how would you intervene first.
  6. I'm here w/ the nursing advisor right now. She said they are shooting for this Friday or Next. She also said they could go out anytime during the week as well but she's aiming for Friday.
  7. So guys I have some news! I would love to leak information but all I'm going to say is be prepared to get your letters this Friday or Next Friday.. also, I'm speaking for NH although, I do anticipate all campuses will send letters on at the same day. Congrats & get ready!!!
  8. I have a hand tattoo and I cover it with waterproof makeup. I was given a ''U'' in regards to uniform appearance due to my tatt not being covered on the 1st day of clinical so they take it very serious. If you have sleeve tattoos just get a long sleeved undershirt to go under your scrubs. It has to be white as well.
  9. Yes I do believe all campuses schedules are different the first 3 weeks because we have to orient with the hospital, lab, and lecture.
  10. You'll get the schedule likely late July. When they send the course calendar it'll tell you what your permanent schedule will be for the entire semester however, the first 3 weeks will be Monday through Friday. To give you an idea it'll be something like this schedule.
  11. Thank you love bug! Thank you, thank you for coming out & being a helping hand alongside SNA with the nursing graduate luncheon today. Dr. Noeller and Jaunita wanted me to thank you! You were awesome. Can't wait to see more of you in the program next year! Remember anytime you need a little guidance from the upper levels, I'm here ❤️ Night.
  12. Were they specifically done for TBON? Or for other entities? If they were done for TBON, then no. You will not have to submit them again. They would just run your background again in case anything new has happened.
  13. It's no guarantee however, it's a foot in the door and when that offer was extended to LSC as a whole, it was extended to NH & no other campus. I'm not trying to be mean here, but you can only speak from your experiences and Montgomery can only speak of what they & what they know is what Montgomery does. NO ADN is guaranteed a position in any mag stat hospital due to the fact that "higher-level" RNs get priority. Now that's facts.
  14. That's definitely not true at all. In fact MH has offered NH students positions as PCAs so that they could possibly transition upon graduation. They're also allowing the students to shadow in a specialty of their choice this year.
