Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls
Anyone know how long health insurance enrollment takes? I paid my initial fee with United Health Care last night. Tomball's castle branch deadline is June 19th!

I wonder if submitting my enrollment application would suffice proof of health insurance coverage ?

Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls
I went with this plan since a fellow coworker and classmate said its a valid company and went through with castlebranch. Since castlebranch said they either need an insurance card or proof of coverage would they temporary id they send work?

Do you guys think castlebranch would accepted untied health care? I don't see why not but just wanted to double check.

Well in that case! Does anyone know any bs class I can take for that 12 hour requirement? I’ve already taken, AP 2, Micro and Psych

Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls
I'm currently trying to enroll with Lone Star's Academic Health Plan for the health insurance requirement. It says we have to have a minimum of 12 credit hours but it looks like my three nursing courses are 2, 3, 5, which makes it 10 credit hours. Anyone know any easy BS class to take so i can meet this 12 hour requirement? Or does anyone know of any annual health insurance agencies that are still taking enrollments? I keep finding monthly.

Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls
June 19th for Tomball. This is more stressful than when we were waiting for results! Hopefully the directors can extend the deadline, a couple of other tomball students are still waiting as well.

Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls
Just go off the phone with tbon after a 20 minute hold and they refuse to send another blue card until June 10th. That's too close to the June 19th deadline. This is absolutely ridiculous

Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls
This is so stressful. Tomorrow officially makes 3 weeks since TBON sent my blue card and 3 weeks to get it in. The nursing director offered a couple days of extension but I have to be on top of it with TBON. I'm losing sleep and hair from the stress of waiting! And TBON won't send a new blue card because it hasn't been a month since they sent the first one!! I emailed them last night explain that I was told it was mailed out the 10th but still haven't gotten it and asking if there was anyway at all to send another one. This just sucks because I literally can't do anything but wait! Who knew waiting on a letter from Austin, TX would take more than 3 weeks???

Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls
Any one else having to wait for almost 3 weeks for a blue card? I emailed TBON and they said it was sent 5/10 but I never got it. Emailed them again today explaining that it never got here so hopefully they'll send a new one?

Lone Star Spring 2020 ADN
I was accepted into Tomball for fall 2019. If anyone needs some insight on the general admission requirements, Your application is based on your GPA of ENGL 1301 & AP I OR AP II, and your HESI score. Between AP I and II they take the highest score. So if you received an A in II but a B in I they'll take the AP II score and vice-versa. For English it has to be 1301, no substituting with 1302 or any other higher level. My stats were: AP II: A ENGL: AHESI: 87.6.Total score: 7.504/8In order to calculate your score its your GPA + HESI score divided by 25. Max score is an 8 out of 8 HESI: 87.6/25 =3.504 + 4 (GPA) = 7.504On another note! Make sure you guys stay on top of your HEP B series as it takes a while to complete! 3 booster shots are required before you can get a quantitative titer.
