Thanks!!

Application process was okay...pretty basic kind of like undergrad/college applications...it was the waiting that killed me! I was so nervous I wouldn't be accepted anywhere, but it obviously worked out!

I actually haven't started the program yet...12 days! Haha I start September 8th! We just had orientation, which was not terribly exciting, but good to meet everyone else in the program. I also just picked up all my books and supplies, which was exciting for me. Everyone says it will be EXTREMELY intense, but if I work hard I will get through it no problem. So I'm nervous, but also really excited and determined to work hard!

Good luck to you in your application process too!!!

Thanks again!

I too have been considering applying to this program since I live in columbus. How is the program? How competitive is it. I have a 3.2 gpa undergrad and a 3.55 gpa grad . I have not taken the GRE yet. Do you think I stand a chance?

I have always been afraid of osu coz I had called them and was told most students who apply have at least a 3.7gpa. Is that true?

rrkeni- The program is pretty competitive, but that shouldn't stop you from applying! I think they told me they accept about 1/3 of the applicants, but I think that the fact that you've taken graduate courses before is in your favor. I had a 4.0, but that was only undergraduate stuff. If you're worried about your GPA, I might take a kaplan course or something to make sure you get a great GRE score and make sure your essays are good.

Good luck!!

Thanks areawoman. Did u get accepted into ohio state? Ihope that's what ohsu stand for coz I thought it was OSU. Anyways, did you get accepted? if so, do you mind telling me what you scored in gre and how to write a personal statement? OSU really scares me yet I really want to get admitted. did they calculate the gpa of all undergrad courses you've ever taken? coz that's what I was told. Thanks for your reply
