2019 Fall Enrollment for Nursing (Hillsborough Community College)

Published

Hi!

I wanted to start a board for the fall enrollments for 2019 for the Nursing Program! I have been on other boards for previous HCC entries and find it super helpful and encouraging to hear from others experience as well as overcoming challenges in the process. I plan to apply for the fall class for the nursing program at HCC! I take the TEAS this Monday, fingers crossed all goes well. I look forward to hearing from future classmates! Please, feel free to share and ask questions!

This is a dumb question but for those who are accepted, I’m trying to get my fingerprints done, but they say they only take money orders (no cash, debit, check, credit) what is money orde?

@Stellalove

Congratulations on your acceptance into the program. A money order is a prepayment form for payment. You can purchase them at your bank; some credit unions issue them for free if you’re a member. Or you can get them from Publix.

@Stellalove a printed order for payment of a specified sum, issued by a bank or Post Office or Amscot

You can go to amascot theyre free , bring the amount of the money order in cash and ask them for one and they will give it to you , I looks like a check with a prepaid amount on it

You can get one for free at the Post Office or Amscot, just make sure you take cash with you. They will print out a check for the $50 and you write in who it is for.

Lol nursing is competitive. You have people who didn’t get into universities that are applying.

For those currently in HCC's nursing program: what does the weekly schedule look like and how does it vary per semester? I'd like to work part time during the program and was wondering if it was a good idea.

Good questions I want to know that too, I work a full time job from 8 to 5 and I dnt know if I am able to keep working if I get in next semester

Evening classes start at 5 pm you’ll have to see depending how are you are from dale Mabry if you can leave work 4 or 4:30
