Hi!
I wanted to start a board for the fall enrollments for 2019 for the Nursing Program! I have been on other boards for previous HCC entries and find it super helpful and encouraging to hear from others experience as well as overcoming challenges in the process. I plan to apply for the fall class for the nursing program at HCC! I take the TEAS this Monday, fingers crossed all goes well. I look forward to hearing from future classmates! Please, feel free to share and ask questions!
An update on my situation, my gpa took a hit when they saw my transcripts and it reflected two Ws for college algebra. So I went from a 3.71 to a 3.51. It’s discouraging but I will continue to apply in hopes that next round the gpas are lower. They were surprised that the cutoff was that high. Don’t lose hope!!
@StephanieDemenjon that's exactly how I feel. I'm not sure if I should bother or just move on to something else. Are you gonna accept the Alternate Confirmation?
Yea i will accept it because i dnt have any other choice, and if i still dnt get in then i will apply next semester

For the spring you should be good.

Alternate conformation is basically like if someone doesn't accept or something happens that they can't go into the Nursing Program, their spot would go to someone who received an alternate confirmation email. For example, my spot is currently #10, so if the 9 before me don't accept, I would get a call about my spot in the program for the one I applied to (so Fall 2019).

so if I didn't get this email I would even be considered to have a spot then?
