2019 Fall Enrollment for Nursing (Hillsborough Community College)

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi!

I wanted to start a board for the fall enrollments for 2019 for the Nursing Program! I have been on other boards for previous HCC entries and find it super helpful and encouraging to hear from others experience as well as overcoming challenges in the process. I plan to apply for the fall class for the nursing program at HCC! I take the TEAS this Monday, fingers crossed all goes well. I look forward to hearing from future classmates! Please, feel free to share and ask questions!

I dropped mine off May 3rd, tomorrow is the deadline. hopefully i receive a post card between today and tomorrow and hccadvisor shows received!

Did you enclose a self-addressed, stamped postcard with your application?

Maybe you live out in the boondocks and it takes a bit for the mail carrier to walk to your mailbox.

i live in wesley chapel lol maybe that's why, hopefully something in the mail between today and tomorrow ill post an update

Hello everyone,

I dropped my application off yesterday and now I am officially nervous. Any one else? This is going to be a long month. However, I was wondering if something is suppose to show up on Web Advisor?

Thanks in advance!

@Cassie11it will take a few days for your documents to show in Web Advisor. Remember they are receiving/processing several applications at once. If you included an addressed envelope with a stamp they will mail it back to you. When I turned my application in it took them around 3 days to mail my envelope back. However, it took much longer for my documents to show in Web Advisor. Hope this helps ease some of your nervousness.

I turned in my application May 3rd and no post-card or webadvisor update, I am getting worried that something happened. do you guys recommend to call, I believe the deadline is today?

@yrosabal

Did you include a postcard/envelope with a stamp? I'm thinking there maybe a delay in uploading and mailings due to a lot of students turning in their applications as the deadline is approaching quickly.

I included postcard inside the envelope with all the documents. That may be true, I am hoping that is the case.

Dropped my application off Monday morning and received confirmation in the mail today. I live like 15 min from Dale Mabry Campus if that helps anyone.

Thanks for the update! where did you drop off the packet at? I left it where the you pay I guess the register. she also advised that the post card didnt need a stamp which i found weird.

That could be why you haven't received it yet. It says on the application If you desire confirmation receipt of your application and/or documents, please provide us with a stamped, self-addressed postcard. No other confirmation will be sent.

There was a slot next to the admissions office window where the application packet was supposed to be submitted.

I put it in the drop box to the right once you walk in to student services. Mine was a self addressed envelope. They stamped a card and mailed it back that way.

I dropped my application May 8th, and today it shows that they received my application and fee in the document section in my webadvisor account. I didn't put self-addressed envelope. Anyway, the TEAS and nursing prerequisites sections are showing that both are under review. I hope that helps. Good luck to us.
