I am having the same anxiety. I have applied to Southwest, LACC, LA County, LA Harbor and Rio Hondo. My first choice is LA Harbor, with LA County being the runner up. I don't think I did so well on the entrance test to the County though due to my math skills. Anyway I have been chippin' away at this pre-reqs for going on 6 years so if it doesn't pan out for fall 2010. I am going to do the LVN route. I pray that I get in though. If not there is always the LVN RN bridge. Good Luck to all!
what school(s) did you apply to? sfsu, chico, sac state, csueb
what is your first choice? csueb
when do you expect to find out, or have you already? late april/may
what will you do if you don't get in anywhere? i am pretty sure i got a chance for all of those schools. so i am expecting this will not be the case. :)
i am feeling the same way! i hate waiting like this! april feels like a million years away!
what school(s) did you apply to? santa rosa jc, mendocino college, csu stanislaus, csu channel islands, and csu san marcos.
what is your first choice? csu stanislaus (the cost of living is amazing!)
when do you expect to find out, or have you already? 3 schools in april, 1 in may, and 1 in june.
what will you do if you don't get in anywhere? i plan to get accepted! but if it doesn't happen, i plan to take a cna program over the summer through the red cross then find a job as a cna. then i will apply again for spring 2011!
I completed my last prereq Summer 2009 (microbiology) and the application apps for Hartnell College (Salinas, CA) ADN nursing program opened up Dec. 12th for Fall of 2010 start and I just received my acceptance letter. I had all my fingers, toes and eyes crossed :) to get in because it was the only program I could apply to (My husbands farm is in Salinas). I like that the Hartnell program bases everything on GPA (mine is 3.8) and LOR's and experience in the medical field (mine was volunteer experience). I've done my research and it is a great program that hasn't been hit too hard by the budget cuts...and they just introduced a fast track 16 month ADN program for Fall 2010.

I'm finding it hard to wait until April for acceptance results and I was wondering if anyone is feeling the same way, so I figured I would start a discussion thread about it.
