It depends on the case...if there was an accident involved....any children.....was it high BAC level etc ...that's what determines the outcome a fine vs probation

Just disclose the first one, not the 2nd one not convicted yet but once you are you have 30 days to disclose it

It depends on a lot on what happened. ....what was your bac....any car accidents?....any kids ? .....I had one w litle less than half the legal limit...just received a fine.....you need to notify them within 30 days of conviction......send personal letter on what happened. ....some letters of character from Co workers and hope for just a fine...good luck ...feel free to message me

Congrats on passing nclex! I got a dui 2 years ago I'm active nurse I was given just a fine and citation for conduct . From I gathered if there was car accidents children or a high bac level greater than double legal limit sometimes you'll get probation

You should be okay as long as there was no injury or car accident or a BAC higher than .2

I have two friends that work in Kaiser therefore they know many nurses in their hospital one of them caught a dui while working there he still works but just has to follow the brn probation stuff they require for 2 years but Kaiser doesn't require anything, another person he knows has a wet reckless with no rn license discipline and got hired with no restrictions at all in critical care

And yea the others who weren't in that category ended up w probation it's available online LVN discipline c ....RN doesn't have that available tho

Sent info the the board, currently waiting their reponse, how long does it usually take to hear back? I noticed all LVN w DUI no accidents and BAC level less than double they all got fines ...
