Nope, no packet yet.Imagine we've been waiting since 2/29. I hope they are not having issues with getting the program classes and rotations together. Have you done the CPR classes yet? I have not done it although I've gotten titers and just waiting for results.

I have not done the CPR Class yet. I was hoping to get the packet and get everything done at once. I had my titers done about 3 months ago and I believe I have all of the ones done that I need for school. Hopefully they will accept those, otherwise I will have to get them done again.

So I finally got an email saying we should be expecting our packages any day now in the mail!! Can't wait to see what all is in there and get started. I need to apply for my loans now so I don't have to work in the fall... I'm really nervous and hope all goes as planned!

Congrats All.

I have one more day to and then I am done with Block 1. Just the process final exam :).

Several of my classmates got the CPR cert through heartsavers and were very happy with the class.

One important detail! When you pick up your books, dont bother trying to read from chapter one forward in your fundamentals text. It isnt laid out that way. I nearly drove myself crazy.

Whatever you want to accomplish before you start school, DO IT NOW! You will not have spare time once classes start.

QaQueen: Did you do any studying before class started? If so, what did you focus on? Is there anything you wish you would have looked at before class started?

I am wanting to get into the program at EMCC too. I am finishing up my pre reqs in Summer II. I am taking my NET test on the 24th. I would appreciate any info you can give me regarding this program since it is still fairly new.

Littlebit: I only know a little bit about the program at EMCC as I was just accepted into the Fall 08 class. As far as I know, the Fall 08 class is the first official class to start out of the regular "pool" of students. However, there was a group of students who started in October 07 from the Banner program.

I waited exactly a year from my application turn in date to get accepted into a program. My guess is that your quickest way of getting accepted into this program would be through the Banners program.

I know this isn't much information, but its some :-) When I find out more info on the program I'll be sure to write you back again. Is there anything in particular you wanted to know?
