i need advice from an experiencedn nurse. I am an LPN failed in Rn bridge program and kicked out last semster.I failed medusrg 1 sem and last semster of nursing .i was away from one nursing class to become graduate.Previous years, I went to bsn and failed nursing program thats when i went to lpn program and made it. Should i try nursing program again .I m scared as well i lost my money and time.I feel emotionally drained because i came this far to fail nursing. My family is telling me to quit nursing and major in bachelor degree .Should i attempt to do nursing program one more time or go for bachelor degree.when i was young, i cried when i kicked out of program right now i dont feel that eventhough i m despaired.I felt a defense mechanism of coping that i have failed before. The program i went to was horrible basically teach yourself i came this far because of my hardwork only.please need advice whether i should try rn or look something else.
Never lose hope, never lose ambition and never lose focus. You have to decide how bad you want to become a Rn. You have to make sacrifices and do whatever it takes to be successful. You can do! Figure out what went wrong the last two times and what you can do to prevent this from happening again. To say give up, it's not an option. Dream deferred but not denied. Good luck and hope to read post that says you were accepted into LPN to Rn program and later Rn graduate. Can you image how many people would not be in their current respective lives if they had given up? I don't know you but I hope you don't give up but work harder future Rn. Best of luck to you, God bless

Yup.I'm not losing hope and I'm not planning to quit nursing school . I was so close towards the finish line especially last class. Thanks for the encouraging words. If I had given up in prior failures,I wouldn't be here. I have to change the way I study and get help when I need. Hopefully, I can come back and tell you good news with god's grace.
It's ok Snowybee,If you want to continue nursing school, this is some of my advices. Don't be upset as I am telling the truth. I, myself, need help as well. I need to find a learning style that works for me. But we're talking about you rig
So, first off, I think you should brush up on the English language... maybe an English Composition sorta class? Just refresh on those grammars/verbs/past/present tense, etc. Second, find out your learning style. Is it auditory? visual? hands on? etc? Find out what fits you best and stick with that style. 3rd, instead of studying/reading 10 hours straight a day...find a better way to study the materials. I know when I sit there and study for 10 hours straight, i'm really only getting 3 hours, instead of 10. Study for 2 hours then take a 30m break, then come back. Don't sit there for hours and hours. Your mind will get really bored and out of focus.
Lastly, try to study the materials before hand, and I mean, before hand! During your break, read ahead your books. This will get you a head start when you come back.
Ok .I'm.
I think anything is possible in this world..."you think they will not accept her after failing" but she hasn't tried. Honestly, anything is possible with prayer dedication and hard work...I believe she can make it. Let's say she passes the third try after previously failing twice, don't you think that shows how much she tried and that she successfully achieved her goal. Not only achieved but Nursing isn't a piece of cake easy so of course maybe it's just a lil harder for her but it doesn't mean she can't be a great great nurse.
I know.I haven't tried. One has to apply in right school to get in nursing program.
I would not give up . Don't listen to negative people on this thread. If you are already an LPN, then there really is not much difference between RN, but people like to pretend there is. If you passed the NCLEX PN, then chances are high that you will pass the NCLEX RN. If you really want to be an RN, then don't give up . It doesn't matter which nursing school you go to anyhow. What matters is passing the NCLEX.

Oh my, where to begin
First of all, this is about being realistic
If snowybee has failed out twice, the reailty is she has a better chance of being hit by lightening than finding a school that will admit her
That's not being "negative", it's just the way the world works
Second, curious what your credentials are that qualify you to judge differences between LPN and RN?
