failed my nclex

Well I failed took the test and as soon as I got outside I did the Pearson trick and it allowed me to register for a new test. I would be lying if I didn't say I was very upset about it I studied my a** off. So my question do I have to go and pay the state again also and how long till I can register with the state, I am assuming it is when the results are official they will give me a link to follow please anyone who failed how did you get over this.

I heard you are suppose to wait after an hour. they may be processing it. Someone here said it took her to the CC page, but after a day, she got the good pop up sign. What materials did you use to study for the nclex?

Well I had a ton of books I was doing 150 to 200 questions a day flascards with labs and other stuff I felt unfocused though like I was all over the place with studying. So you think I should try later today or tomorrow and see if my result has changed

Try again in a couple hours and make sure it says Delivery Successful before you try.

i would give it more hours before i try PVT, Hoping for the best! yes you would have to pay the state as well, check with your state the requirements, a bit different from the original registration. Most states gives you 45 days to retake the exam as far as the payments you can do it right away but they wont let you test till the required time ..every states is different some states its 90 days

It did say delivery successful but I will try again and let you know lol but I already paid so I might have to get a refund lol

OK I already paid for my next test so when i go back to check it gives me a pop up that says --- "the candidate already has an open registration for this exam, a new registration cannot be created at this time" so i guess I am stuck waiting for official early results from Pearson correct?

what state do you live in? do you participate in quick results? i wouldve waited 48 hours for the quick results before payin another 200 bux

florida and yes there is a quick results so I will check there in 48 hours

Best of luck!! keep us posted!!

I would have suggested waiting, and revising for a while before paying for another test. I can assure you the reason you are not being successful, is because you do not know your content as well as you think you do. You have to slow down and take your time to understand what the question is asking. The fact is, there is only so many ways they can ask you how to care for a cardiac patient, the scenario may change, but the answer will always be the same. NCLEX is about basic care. You need 2-3 pieces of material to revise from, and you need to know them inside out and back to front......revising has to become an obsession...........

A nurse posted on here about a couple of weeks ago that she was depressed because the PVT also took her to the cc page to reregister. She was depressed until her mom told her to wait for the official results, and what do you know, she actually passed. So, don't lose hope until you get the official results. Don't just rely on the PVT.
