I am so devastated!! I had a job lined up and everything only to find out that I failed on my first attempt yesterday. How do I tell them that I'm not a competent nurse and I won't be able to start working? I am such a failure!!!!!!!

Didn't you just take it yesterday? How can you know you failed? Please tell me it wasn't that stupid PVT thing....?
No I didn't do the PVT trick. Alabama usually updates within 24 hrs for most people that I know. I called the BON and they asked for my social and told me that I couldn't get results over the phone & that I needed to wait for 6 weeks for official results. Pearson says results aren't available but I was told that its because my state doesn't participate in quick results. I'm so hurt

The BON is never allowed to give results over the phone. I know a couple people who've tried to call and have been told the same thing. A few weeks later they got their results that they passed. Also, you're not 100% sure that you failed! Just wait it out! Keep your head up until you get your final results!
True...thank you for the encouragement!

When you called the BON, did you ask if you could re-register? In some places that is kind of like the PVT, if they say no, it is a retty sure thing that you passed (but not 100%).
Hello
I did try to re-register and it allowed me too. Its official, I failed. I am okay now. I will pass it next time.
