Failed the NCLEX-RN exam the third time

Hello. I'm new to allnurses.com. I need your help. I feel bad and in doubt if nursing profession is for me.

I graduated nursing last 2006 in the Philippines. I came here in the U.S last March 2007. I already took 3 NCLEX-RN exams but sad to say, I failed. The first 2, I only had self review. The third, I took kaplan. Kaplan helped but, still I failed.:bluecry1: I just took my latest exam last June of this year. What should I do? Please encourage and motivate me. :scrying: :confused:

i'm so sorry to hear that...but am glad that you are not giving up! just keep picking yourself back up and try harder. best of luck to you and i'm sure you will be a nurse!

Yep it's official...I am NOT a registered nurse...YET!!! I called yesterday and got the bad news. Good thing I pretty much know where my weaks points are though. Good luck to all.

Kyluh - sorry you didn't pass. I know how much that sucks. I falied twice & am starting Suzannes plan this week. Getting motivated is hard, but I and YOU and all of us struggling with this test will conquer it!! Praying for us all.....

Don't feel bad...I also failed 3 times. Retaking again (#4) in Sept. I've used Kaplan, but it didn't work out for me. I'm trying a new tecnique. I'm reviwing Saunder's Comprehensive Review Book, all the systems, subjects, everything. Everyone in these forums has mentioned about Suzanne's plan. They said her plan has a high success rate. I'm planning on trying it.

Never give up hope. I know we both can do it.

My wife has also failed the 3rd time today.....so we just got to know how bad it feels.....well the world doesnt end there guys.....we need to pick ourselves and move forward.......

Anyways if we fail the 3rd time...do we have to take additional course before she could write the exam....My wife has applied through Vermont Board of Nursing.....

Hi, I live in CA and I wanted to know what website tells you if you passed or failed. I have been to the BON, but it doesn't say pass or fail. I understand that if you pass it will give your lic#, but if you didn't, is there a place where it will tell you that you didn't--- after 48 hrs.:nurse:
