Failed NCLEX- PN twice

Hi, everyone I am very new to this and need to vent somewhere with someone. I took my NCLEX-PN friday and found out I failed today for the second time.. I told my husband and the first thing he said was " Really? your joking." " how did you fail again? after all that time in nursing school and you failed twice" I didn't know what to say I am speechless and reevaluating whether i should be a nurse or not.. I wanted to get into the RN program in the fall but i dont even know anymore if I am not an LVN. What should I do? I don't want to take the NCLEX again to fail... Not sure if i want to invest in another study program. I used the kaplan study program both times and failed. I was sure id pass this last time around but I didn't. I am so disappointed in myself.. I haven't even told my mom Ive failed twice. I have no clue what to do now. Please someone help.

I agree. Well not sure when the next time I will test :/ everyone in my class has passed and I think im the only one that failed. I just feel discouraged. What is ATI? I noticed I also miss being out there with patients :(

I feel your pain...but you can't give up now. With that said try coming up with a plan like I had to do. Force on the prize at hand. For I am doing a little a time within the next 30 days I want to be through all the subjects. Then I need to force on the core of the question...like what do they mean...what do they want. I failed once and that made me feel like I didn't have friend in the world everyone I know passed and thought it was so easy . Now I force on 2 to 3 hours a day on ONE thing at a time..

Oh okay. I got the report and had three categories above the passing rate with pharm being Below the passing rate again... all the other were near the passing rate... but husband just asked if I want to take it again. Iam terrified too but will take a break and will continue to study one last time. I dont want to fail again. I need to pass to get on with my life.

I know how you feel, I took my exam last week and found out I failed it.. I was so disappointed but I was thinking at the same time that it will motivate me to study more.,this is my first take... and I did review I paid 600usd for 9days its pretty awesome review center but I was soo confused why I failed but then again. You guys can do this! Never give up! Just remember to breath. Take some time and write down your weaknesses. I did not know my core content well enough to pass Nclex-rn .I did the hurst review and studied it a good 2 months before i felt confident in areas. Everything doesnt work for everybody, so you do have to find what works for you. Have faith bc like i said "You can do this and you will rock it next time!"

WOW..I had only 1 area above passing and the rest rear passing..and 1 below which was pharm too. I want to pass myself but I know I need to understand the subject better. Been out of school since 2012 but I am a tech in a hospital where I do a lot of things but I need to pass this test.

Then focus on pharm; go over questions and rationales related to pharm; I used PharmPhlash cards to review; search for pharmacology cards on this forum-one member has pharmacology cards that were VERY helpful to many posters on this forum.

Heres an update! I passed the nclex pn on the third try! Lol third time is a charm I guess. But I passed. I did what some of you recommend. The ncsbn study class online. It helped so much refresh my memory as well as th nclex mastery app to supplement if I didnt study ncsbn that day. I passed with 86 questions!

Great job...I really liked the ncsbn review the most. When I sat down to take the test ..to me it looked the ncsbn review..not no long questions like the other review give you so I was happy for that. I failed because I was all over the place with my studies. Now I am just using one review ...understanding it and then if I need help I will use one at a time...Congrats..and best wishes..
