Failed AANP today

So I just failed my AANP cert. exam today. I am wanting to get the CE's done ASAP and reapply as soon as I can. When I looked on the AANP website, it said the CE's have to be done in your area of weakness, did everybody else wait for that letter (says it can take 4-5 weeks) or can I just do any CE's and submit those with my recertification application? Thanks for the advice.

Hello Willpass0515,

So sorry to hear that you did not pass. Believe me I know your pain..... I had to go back to the basics and and content. I used a review book and made flash cards and studied everyday whenever I had a chance if I was working and if not I studied about 8 hrs a day in 2 hr sessions. I convinced myself tomrelax and remain calm with deep breathing techniques in order to relax before and while taking the test and I passed the second time. I hope this helps!!!

Thank you so much for responding. Which review book did you use. and when you went back to basics did you use barkley or fitzgerarld style. And regarding content do you mean like ancc content blueprints. Thank you for any help or sugesstions. I even would write a positive affirmation every 40 questions or so.

I am curious--as I take AANP in 2 weeks. Do they allow a piece of paper and pen? or write on/wipe off board. That is the one thing that helps when I get nervous--to write it out.

Yes they do give you a dry erase board and earplugs...
