Hi, My Priority Date is now Current (Aug 2008). I took the NCLEX last MAY 2007 and my CA File expired last MAY 2010(No extension done). My agency paid for the VisaScreen (2008) but i didn't comply the requirements, in short, No VS certificate was issued. Last Month (June 10, 2014), I reapplied for the CGFNS VisaScreen. I've send the request for Academic Records/Transcript & Request for Validation of License in the Philippines.
CGFNS VS is requiring a copy of my NCLEX results.
My questions are:
1. Will CA BRN honor my "Request for Validation of License/Registration/Diploma" & "Request of "TEST RESULT" of NCLEX even if my File has been "abandoned & destroyed"?
2. If CA BRN will dishonour my request, what are the necessary steps in order for them to send a copy of my Test Results to CGFNS?
3. With Regards to the Bank Draft, Is okay to issue a Total Payment of $70 in just one bank draft? (Copy of test Result: $10 + ICHP Visa Screen: $ 60 = $70) or a separate draft for each payment?
Yeah don't worry about that, they are now enjoying there. Your 3 years contract with them is quick. Btw, about the Guy who has the same case with us, the license specialist of medpro was the one who contacted/followed up/verified CABRN to get his license number/registration inorder for him to be endorsed in other state. Which means he went to US with "expired/abandoned file" (which is our case, right?!). He's file is still abandoned & destroyed as up to date coz he never applied for CA license card...just endorsement. I'm quite relieved with this news. Coz i'm also worried how will i apply for reciprocity/endorsement to other state if our file has been abandoned & destroyed. Though there are some blogs here that we'll have to pass the "application for new registration(school/prc/fingerprint again,etc) + SSN" and they will issue our CA license card.(this is if you'll practice to CA). Btw, secure your vaccination records too coz if you don't have you'll repeat it again. My friend paid for his 2nd dose in US..(just a way to lessen our expenses when we get there.)
That's what ive heard too. Bcoz our file was destroyed we have to pass another application and pay the fee again but we will not retake the exam :) what do you mean by vaccination records? I got vaccinated from different clinics so it means I have to get it from them?
@arnstopable yep, it's Board of Registered Nursing $70... Update me if CGFNS will receive your NcLex results. It's almost 2 months and there's still no reply from both of them.
Are there forms or letter that i need to accomplish for them to provide a Copy of Test Result or is the $70 fee and Request for Validation of License/Registration/Diploma enough? Thanks.
They need records of vaccination as a proof. As long as the M.D. & R.N. License no. & signature appears, it's okay. Your baby book is valid too. Check the website of st lukes extension clinic.(self declaration of vacc. is not honored). The Initial dose of vaccines are included in the payment. My friend had his 2nd dose of varicella in usa. I think for those who doesn't have this vacc. records, a titer is a proof then.(anyone there who can attest??)
CGFNS has updated my record. They've finally received my NCLEX test results.....& my PRC... I'm just waiting for my school(kinda weird coz it was sent a week earlier than my PRC through DHL).
So, to all those who has the same case with me. Just send the:
1. Request for validation of diploma/registration... from cgfns Vs
2. Bank Draft worth $70 payable to: Board of Registered Nursing.

3. A photocopy of NCLEX passing letter
4. Personal Request letter(optional).

CGFNS updated my account today. (PRC & NCLEX).
Again, NO notification email received from Cgfns that there is an update with my order. So better check your order status then once in a while...
I dont get it. Cgfns sent me an inactivity notice. This is what they sent me.

I checked my status order after I received their email but they havent updated my record yet until I checked last night. Prc and Ielts result-received but the TOR validation and Nclex result are still on pending.
Inactivity notice is sent every 2 months(in my case). This is your 1st inactivity notice right?(i'm just assuming coz you applied last aug 7). Try to check the "junk" or "bulk" folder of your email, Sometimes they end up there. Don't worry if you don't receive any "received notification" as long as they update your order status.They've received my school credentials last sept 6(DHL tracking) yet they still haven't updated my status order...(still "received but not accepted "-this happens coz their record showed they've received a previous scholl file from my 1st Visascreen order but its expired) I'm also wondering why it still like that 'coz my PRC is now updated when in fact they received it at a later date(sept 12).
What delivery service did you use to send your request to CABON. DHL and UPS didn't accept my files because of the cheque enclosed. They told me that its against their policy to send documents with cash or cheque with it. Thanks.
Medpro sent the request to CaBON. They asked me to wait until the application is waived. Im just confuse coz CGFNS sent me an inactivity notice stating that they are still waiting for the prc and TOR validation for them to start the process but in my order status the nclex result is still on "waiting to be received" so I dont if they received it or not.
Thanks for the update seminarista. Im really having 2nd thoughta if the demand draft should be payable to "BRN" only or "Board of Registered Nursing". I hope that they can process my request as fast as yours. Goodluck to us and let's keep this thread updated to help others as well.

I send it thru DHL!!! No hassle at all! Try to go to other branch if that's the case.
