Hi, My Priority Date is now Current (Aug 2008). I took the NCLEX last MAY 2007 and my CA File expired last MAY 2010(No extension done). My agency paid for the VisaScreen (2008) but i didn't comply the requirements, in short, No VS certificate was issued. Last Month (June 10, 2014), I reapplied for the CGFNS VisaScreen. I've send the request for Academic Records/Transcript & Request for Validation of License in the Philippines.
CGFNS VS is requiring a copy of my NCLEX results.
My questions are:
1. Will CA BRN honor my "Request for Validation of License/Registration/Diploma" & "Request of "TEST RESULT" of NCLEX even if my File has been "abandoned & destroyed"?
2. If CA BRN will dishonour my request, what are the necessary steps in order for them to send a copy of my Test Results to CGFNS?
3. With Regards to the Bank Draft, Is okay to issue a Total Payment of $70 in just one bank draft? (Copy of test Result: $10 + ICHP Visa Screen: $ 60 = $70) or a separate draft for each payment?
@margauxfd i sent the request for validation of license/diploma form of CGFNS, a photocopy of the NCLEX PASSING LETTER(The one you received that they need a SSN to process the license) and a personal letter requesting them to forward my nclex to cgfns(optional). Plus a bankdraft of $70. I sent it thru DHL last month. Up to now, CGFNS didn't send any confirmation letter that they received my results & also the CA BRN... I'll update u once there's any improvements.

Send also a photocopy of your passing letter.(i read it in other blogs). Please update this thread.
I'm also waiting the reply of my friend, who is now in Arizona, he had an expired CABRN file too when he arrived there. I asked him how did he applied for the CA license card & reciprocity to Arizona.
My nclex result has been forwarded to cgfns already. It took a month so I think u shudn't worry just yet :) If it is more than a month you should ask your employer to help you.

It takes about 3 weeks for the prc to release & send the papers. Cgfns received mine last sept. 13(dhl tracking) yet they didn't send any notice to my email. Who's your agency? I'm with PNI(PHL) & ADEX medical staffing(usa).
I received an email from them 2 weeks ago saying that they still havent received the 2 for them to complete the process. I probably just followup with my school and prc. Mine is medpro.
It's the inactivity notice which they send every 2 months( in my case). They usually send notification email if there are any docs received/inactivity. It's good they updated my ielts results in the system ( again, no email received).
My friends are with medpro too. Do you know which hospital you'll be assigned? Coz my friends arrived in usa without any hospital assignment and it was only after their orientation they were interviewed. Almost 3 months they didn't have a job(no money indeed). One of them applied for reciprocity 2x coz he failed in his 1st interview, & no other job opening in that state. Well, goodluck, hope we'll go there too.. I'll updAte this thread once Cgfns will receive my nclex. I'm happy for you...you're one step closer to your VSC.
How will I know if they already received the documents if they dont update.
I don't know where will I be assigned. My friend just got there 2 months ago and she already got a job but the hard part is you will be assigned in diff. facilities. (It is stated in the contract btw) I signed with medpro bcos I have no other options & they already paid for my visa screen and greencard processing. I just hope Im doing the right decision. I assumed it's your agency who created your Cgfns file too... Coz' you can access it through online(cgfns- connect)with your username/password. You can see all your transactions with cgfns here, yes, everything. Don't worry about medpro, my friends are working now in a com. hospital(AZ) ($25/hr)& in Florida Gen. Hosp(luckily,she was hired as a regular staff -higher salary). Just bring extra cash (atleast $2k) coz there's still a lot to process, daily expenses, etc. There 2k bonus dried up easily. It took a while before they were interviewed again. Good thing they didn't pay the rent(extra month). Again, it's a case 2 case basis...some started duty right away while some were still waiting...the one in AZ end up as travel nurse with a year contract in that hospital after which he may extend if medpro will relocate him again. Btw, BLS/ACLS done outside US is not honored acccdg. to my friends. They had to repeat there.
Oh really? Thanks for the info. Guess I have to communicate with all my friends and relatives in the US lol. It will be hard for sure. Probably I will be assigned in the OR (hopefully). My friend got a job immediatly after the orientation. She was assigned in AZ for more than a month and now in New Mexico as an OR nurse too. Well I have no other options I already signed with medpro and I kinda love to travel lol. I should probably get a trailer van when I get there haha.. thank so much for the info.
