Hi, My Priority Date is now Current (Aug 2008). I took the NCLEX last MAY 2007 and my CA File expired last MAY 2010(No extension done). My agency paid for the VisaScreen (2008) but i didn't comply the requirements, in short, No VS certificate was issued. Last Month (June 10, 2014), I reapplied for the CGFNS VisaScreen. I've send the request for Academic Records/Transcript & Request for Validation of License in the Philippines.
CGFNS VS is requiring a copy of my NCLEX results.
My questions are:
1. Will CA BRN honor my "Request for Validation of License/Registration/Diploma" & "Request of "TEST RESULT" of NCLEX even if my File has been "abandoned & destroyed"?
2. If CA BRN will dishonour my request, what are the necessary steps in order for them to send a copy of my Test Results to CGFNS?
3. With Regards to the Bank Draft, Is okay to issue a Total Payment of $70 in just one bank draft? (Copy of test Result: $10 + ICHP Visa Screen: $ 60 = $70) or a separate draft for each payment?
If we already have Visa Screen previous but it expired, I understand we have to treat it as a new application, but do we really need to submit the documents again?
hello.. cgfns only requires copy of test results which is 10$. I m not sure what is the 60$. Im also in the process and im confused which one to follow since i already have a NY license. but i took nclex in Cali
You just need to request for NCSBN letter from California. That is proof that you passed NCLEX. Just draft a letter requesting for the NCSBN letter (used to be called NCLEX PASS LETTER WITH PHOTO) and submit the necessary fees. Goodluck.

Hi hdnurse_ian. I requested my NCLEX pass letter back in 2010, it just took me a few weeks to receive my Pass letter. I don't know whether the processing times are still the same. What I did was, I asked my cousin from California to personally hand in my request letter and pay for the fees. That time it only cost about $10.
Does anyone of you know how to process visa screen? I have passed the California Nclex last 2010, and have it endorsed to illinois last 2015, but it expired a year later, so i have basically inactive Illinois license.
Now, i am processing my visa screen and was stuck in "validation of licenses" obtained outside my country (Philippines).
My dilemma here is i don't exactly know where to begin.
What are the exact forms and fees should i send to california brn in order for them to validate my passing of nclex last 2010? And should i send a request for validation of licenses to illinois since they gave me a license?
Hi Mibds02, I don't think California is included in the validation of license since you do not have one from California. I processed mine using my PRC license and my UK license, I also hold a California NCLEX and I did not include it in my visa screen. From how I understand it, you need to include your license from Illinois.
I also have a quick question regarding transfer of NCLEX to Illinois, did you undergo the CES from CGFNS? and how did you process it? I am on that stage but I got confused with the CT-NUR and ED-NUR forms.. do these forms need to be sent directly from PRC and school or do I include them when I send my application pack? I hope you can help me out on this. Thank you.
thank you for answering my query. to make it short, there's no need for me to send a request for validation of license to california since i did not hold any license from them? instead, i will send a request to illinois in order for them to validate the license they have released?
about my endorsement from california to illinois, i asked for assistance from NEAC, so they did everything in behalf of me. it cost me alot to be honest. but as far as i can remember, they did charge me for the CES processing alone and it's about 200USD i think.
Correction: I have it endorsed to illinois last 2013. i have retrieved my email and they asked me for my PRC id as one of the requirements. though there's one thing that adds up to my confusion. they said thru their email that CES is only valid for a year, thus you need "endorsement" again. as to where will it be endorsed, i dont have any idea at all.
Hi Mibds02, I apologize for some confusion, what I mean is, you don't need to verify a license from them (Same way as you would do with your PRC license). However, as far as I can remember from 2016, there was a portion wherein I had indicated that I have CA NCLEX. What I did was to contact CA BON for them to forward my PASS TEST RESULTS and pay for the service fee of $100. That was two years ago, please check with them (CA BON and CGFNS) because you have an Illinois license whereas I did not have any license to be verified. Hope this helps you.
Hello, can anyone please help, I need to get a copy of my passing test results from California as one of the requirements for the Visa Screen Certificate, where to do that in the Ca Brn website? I am currently licensed with Texas.
U have to draft a letter to Ca BOn requesting for the nclex pass letter 10usd to be mailed to cgfns.Get urself a copy too to be mailed to your home address if u want .I paid 120 dollars because of the license verification form that has been waived and 2 copies of nclex pass letter.
