Excited to start nursing program!

Just wanted to share that I got on the waiting list for a local nursing program in December 2011, and I just found out that I will be able to start the program in January 2013!!! I am so happy because that is what I was hoping for. I am rooted in this community, so I did not want to go anywhere else... and this program is a good one, very high passing rate for the NCLEX. I am so excited!!!!

Thanks for the replies!

It is an ADN program at my local community college. I have an undergraduate degree in education, but I am changing careers. Once I start, the program will be 4 semesters (plus one summer in between.) So, if all goes as planned, I could take my boards in December 2014 to become an RN! Yay!

Oh wow I am sooo excited for you! Best of luck with everything!

Congrats!!
