Exam Cram helped me pass PN NCLEX

Published

After three trys, i finally passed my Nclex PN. i owe it all the exam cram and a littlt to Saunders 4th edition. the first two trys i went all the way to 205 questions and failed. i used Saunders and some school notes...after studying with exam cram for my third try, the computer cut off at 85.. :) God is good.. and so is exam cram.. ohh yea, and the trick does work..

Did you see any same questions from exam cram on the nclex by any chance or were they all just real similar? also before you took the exam did you read and finish the exam cram book and practice questions which consist of 1000 questions? thanks

Thank you Andre40...I will definitely try that.

And playas09...I didnt even know about the exam cram book before I sat down to take this test 4times. I just happened to go to barnes and noble one day and went through the books there and when I flipped through exam cram book , I went Holly crap this looks just like nclex.....came home did research on it, many people said questions are just like how you will find nclex, then i had to get this book. I have lots of other books, saunders ( too easy for me), incredible easy ( i find it challenging), kaplan ( good strategy book), I also tried learning extension ( please people dont waste money on this, too much info on there just read your saunders book from front to back 2 times lol you will be fine), also did Hurst review thinking that i may need to know my core content again ( Review was excellent online, loved it) but unfortunately didnt workout for me.....but when i saw the questions in exam cram, It was by far the most close to what you will be dealing with in nclex. Now as i was doing questions on exam cram last night, I felt like few of the questions outta there were in my nclex. So yes please trust me and go get this book ( exam cram practice questions 2nd edition, not the exam cram review book). You will be glad you did. I will be on it next 3 weeks. Thank you and Best of LUCK!!!

congrats.. I need help today i received my results and i did not pass it was my second time taking it,,, i don't want to give up, i want to try again in most of the content areas i got near passing,, what book is the one you used? can you please give the name and author i don't want to buy the wrong ones, i used Linda twice already and don't feel that they are helpful sorry.. or is probably just me. need help i will appriciated it. thanks and congrats

I totally agree Exan Cram is a awesome book. A friend mine on here told me about exam cram and I got blessed and found it at my local library. I failed 4 time and used Saunders and kaplan before hand, however using exam crams making my own flash cards from the book I believed played a huge part in me passing on my fifth try....I prayed and prayed daily and that also played major major role in me passing. Good luck to the test takers out there:)

Thank you so much, also how were you scoring on the practice exams on exam cram since they are divided into 5 test which consist of 200 questions each.. I am planning on taking the PN nclex real soon and have taken 3 of the practice exam which consist of 200 questions and score between 55-60%. I'm just not sure if i should review more or is that what others scored when taking the practice exams from the exam cram practice question book. Thanks

hi,

can you tell me on your 2nd and third try, was your exams are almost same questions you had the first time. di you get prioritization, delegation and isolation?

i am going to take my 2nd try next month. Can you help?

I am doing CD only...havent got to the practice questions in the book yet. Just trying to figure out what CD has to say where I am weak or strong. Have you installed CD on your computer yet??? Try it and See what it has to say about your performance.

you will never get the same questions as your last test, common you should know this. May be you will be asked on few same diseases but no not the same questions. I took this test 4 times and it has surprised me all four times. My Last test was full of priority questions, delegations, SATA, pharm.....I thought ohhh m going the right way, i will pass but nope i still failed. You can never predict anything about this test. All i have to say from my experience is that, the little paper you got back in the mail with your performance on it, just focus on that and answers questions, only answer questions.

Sorry I meant similar questions. I guess I will get priorirization, delegation, isolation again. I gotta pass 2nd try because on April 2011 the nclex will get harder.

Hi

i am goin through the same situation as you did and i have a question about exam cram as you said u found it pretty helpful. What did you do....answered the questions in the book first and then went on with CD??? or you went straight to the CD?? I went straight to the CD, and having trouble getting to the next level as i am scoring real low. Please reply. Thank You!!!

i found saunders to be harder than the actual nclex itself.....i also used the saunders book...i still use it as a reference for my job...great lil tool.......
