Hi i am goin through the same situation as you did and i have a question about exam cram as you said u found it pretty helpful. What did you do....answered the questions in the book first and then went on with CD??? or you went straight to the CD?? I went straight to the CD, and having trouble getting to the next level as i am scoring real low. Please reply. Thank You!!!

you will never get the same questions as your last test, common you should know this. May be you will be asked on few same diseases but no not the same questions. I took this test 4 times and it has surprised me all four times. My Last test was full of priority questions, delegations, SATA, pharm.....I thought ohhh m going the right way, i will pass but nope i still failed. You can never predict anything about this test. All i have to say from my experience is that, the little paper you got back in the mail with your performance on it, just focus on that and answers questions, only answer questions.

I am doing CD only...havent got to the practice questions in the book yet. Just trying to figure out what CD has to say where I am weak or strong. Have you installed CD on your computer yet??? Try it and See what it has to say about your performance.

Thank you Andre40...I will definitely try that. And playas09...I didnt even know about the exam cram book before I sat down to take this test 4times. I just happened to go to barnes and noble one day and went through the books there and when I flipped through exam cram book , I went Holly crap this looks just like nclex.....came home did research on it, many people said questions are just like how you will find nclex, then i had to get this book. I have lots of other books, saunders ( too easy for me), incredible easy ( i find it challenging), kaplan ( good strategy book), I also tried learning extension ( please people dont waste money on this, too much info on there just read your saunders book from front to back 2 times lol you will be fine), also did Hurst review thinking that i may need to know my core content again ( Review was excellent online, loved it) but unfortunately didnt workout for me.....but when i saw the questions in exam cram, It was by far the most close to what you will be dealing with in nclex. Now as i was doing questions on exam cram last night, I felt like few of the questions outta there were in my nclex. So yes please trust me and go get this book ( exam cram practice questions 2nd edition, not the exam cram review book). You will be glad you did. I will be on it next 3 weeks. Congratulations on passing your exam!! Now can you please tell me little bit more on how exam cram works. I just received my book in the mail today, I did pre test thing on there twice and my scores are super low. Should i go ahead do another pretest or move on to the adaptive drill to see where i m going wrong??? Please help me figuring out this exam cram, m confused as hell. I really need to pass this test as its going to be my 5th time. Thank YOU

I just gave my Nclex PN exam today for the third time, so dont be discouraged, it stopped sumwhere around 130-132.....havent tried the pearson vue trick yet so i m not sure how i did today. ANywaz I usually dont write posts but this one I cudnt help but share....the reason for my this post is to tell everyone whoever is planning to sign up for learning extension.....please dont sign up for it.....instead just read your saunders book twice....do not waste your money on it.....that program has so much info in it with no pictures but writing......It did not work for me, as I failed twice, I wasted my time taking notes and filling out my notebooks and did not pass. Save those extra 40-50 bucks and go to barnes and nobles and get a book that has nothing but questions to answer, and answers atleast 50 questions out of it. Please dont sign up for it, just read your saunders twice if you really like to read.

Hello Everyone!!! I am planning to take my LVN nclex exam soon may be sumtime in feb. I havent scheduled it yet but i know i wanna take it at the end of the feb. So i bought the new 4th edition of saunders nclex review book for PN. I took the assessment test on there the other day and it gave me the "study calendar" if u knw wat m talkin bout. I think m gnna follow that study calendar and finally my question is to people who have already studied saunders before and passed or still studying that How are you guys studying or studied saunders??? Did nyone read the chapter first, then did the CD questions thing or just straight jumped to the CD nd did 100 question a day kinda thing nd didnt even bother to read the book ??? Any kinda suggestion on how to study for Nclex would be appreciated. Thank you!!!

congratulations s2000 for receiving ur packet. About the ATT number, you can apply for it online and u ll receive it within 48 hours. i think its pearsonvue website....m not sure but i know all my classmates applied it online and received it within 2 days. Good luck to you know. And also thanks to everyone else for sharing. hopefully i ll receive it soon.

i graduated from san joaquin county, it was also a private skool. I tried to talk to the director of the program but honestly it sounded like she doesnt really care, all she needed was her money, she said she really cant do anything bout it, its all board. Whoaa it sucks to know dat few of us waited six months for dis ********. you guys think its a good idea to go down to their office in sacramento and inquire things as i live 45 mins away from sacramento?????

well everytime i got hold of california LVN board, either i called them early morning between 8-9am or the last time i contact them via email and i emailed around 3pm and i received back my response within an hour....and obivously i was shocked because these days i dont expect anythin from them and i think they ve only one number to contact them..... Even if u contact them to get a copy of your license , am pretty sure they gonna make you fill out some kinda form.....so i think you should check out their website www.bvnpt.ca.gov and there gotta be a some kinda replacement form they gonna tell you to fill out and send either by fax or mail.

well my friend who took nclex on july 10th 2008 and received her result on august 6th. So basically give it about a month or 3-4 weeks, she received it via mail....m not sho if u can find the results any other way.
