I know it's a little early to be starting this thread since most people have just applied and all but I've been waiting to start this FOREVER. On tuesday I register for my last four pre-reqs. It took me three years to get all of them done for my BSN program. I'm taking my HESI A2 entrance test in January which I'm studying for right now, but I'm so anxious to get the rest of this semester and next semester over with.
Hopefully we'll keep this thread going until next May or June when everyone has their acceptances and start getting their infomation folders and what not.
My tentative schedule isM/Th 0830-1130 skills/lab
M 1230-1430 fundamentals (should it be FUNdamentals or fundaMENTALS?)
M-F pharm (online if I get lucky)
T 830-1430/Th 1500-2100 clincal lab/on-site clinicals
Friday is orientation and registration, I imagine, so I'll know for sure then. After Friday I can go buy my equipment, yay! I'm such a gear geek it's embarrassing.
I have 9 cr this semester and third, I think 11 second and fourth. I honestly can't imagine doing this without all the general ed stuff out of the way. Core classes are more than enough for my monkey mind.
Woo, I got the schedule I wanted! And I did a little shopping research and can cut my book costs by over $700. Lesson learned: DON'T BUY YOUR BOOKS AT THE BOOKSTORE.
am so glad I got my pre-reqs out of the way. Holy cow.
well, the august is HERE!:yeah:
I am so excited! And i am getting nervous now, too.. I've been waiting for this forever, but one thing or another.. life happens, and i just could not seem to get to this point. And now, at 33, without any prior medical experience, here i am.
Anyhow.. Congrats to all who is starting this Fall 2010, and Good Luck!:)
