Endorsement Application to Vermont

Published

I'm from the Philippiens. I passed the California-NCLEX. Since I'm having problems acquaring a valid SSN, I'm planning to endorse my California-NCLEX to State of Vermont just so that I could get a permanent license in US. Supposed I already got RN license in Vermont and already working there as a nurse, is it still possible for me to reaaply my NCLEX in California (without having to retake the test) eventhough it has long been expired? My relatives are in California and I want to be as closed to them as possible. I will apprecaite any form of response.:)

I have received a letter from vermont state board of nursing.. and there is this wallet size paper.. is it the real license that i should be expecting?.. it says there " this wallet card is not a valid license ,please discard... my Status: active

Effective: 11/09/2010

Expires: 03/31/2011

i thought it would be a real card license with a picture on it.. how can i get a real card license??

also, how come it's going to be expired on march 31, 2011.. how do i know their basis they put that expiry date? and if gets expired does it mean i have to retake the NCLEX or just another renewal or something?? please help...

some states have set dates that licenses expire. For some RN license expire on either odd year or even year. Others expire on your birthday. You do not generally have to resit NCLEX when renewing but may have to complete some CEU's to meet requirements for renewal

I've even heard some states are no longer issuing a hard copy license. Even though it states to discard I would keep it as proof in case if something were to arise.

Im a nurse and I take nclex exam last 2008 and since im about to expire my license at state of California,

Im planning to endorse it to vermont...

I have read some articles about endorsing (Powered by Google Docs)

It consist 9 pages....

I would just like to verify if these forms are the correct one....

And how much would it cost to apply for endorsement

All relevant information is on the Vermont BON website http://www.vtprofessionals.org/opr1/nurses/international_forms/NU_International_NCLEX_PASS_Endorsement_CES.pdf and fees are included in the instruction. Don't forget CES will be a separate fee to the BON

People really should take the time and read all the information on the BRN website. If there are still questions or comments those should be directed to the state board either via telephone call or email.

I calculate and its too expensive like 385$ to CES and 150$ to Vermont

I guess i cant afford it now..

WHat if i endorse it to new york, will my Nclex expire there?

and

How much would it cost and does NY also needs CES?

Hope not..

Please help

Check the NY BRN website & read through it thoroughly. If you still have questions or concerns it's best to contact them as they are the best resource. Good Luck

Most states will require CES, NY requires CVS which is slightly different as CGFNS has to get all the required documentation

hi everyone. i have already sent my endorsement application to VT BON. I was able to track my docs through the courier and VT got my application already last january 5. im just wondering why until now i have not heard from them yet, i got no email message from them still. is this normal? anyone who can enlighten me on this? thanks a lot

hi cgfns emailed me that my CES report for Vermont was mailed already. Does this means that Vermont BON will receive a copy of the report and will it cover all those pending status that I have such as "Verified licensure as RN in the country of graduation or proof of eligibility for such licensure", Graduated from an approved educational program preparing persons for entry into practice of Registered nursingand why are they asking for application to testing service? Im only endorsing my examination from California. thanks in advance.
