hi, when you say background check it means I have to go through the live fingerprint scan which they now require? I did everything else except for the fingerprint which I am going to do now.

Mandeep4, I am now on the process of changing my status from H4 to immigrant, hoping to get my green card by November. After that, I will look for a job here as a nurse and ask for reciprocity of license. I think there is no way to change status from h4 to h1, unless the hospital will petition you. But if the visa for nurses is still on retrogression, there is no way that the hospital can sponsor you. You can wait until you adjust your status so you can have a ss#. In that way, you can look for a hospital to hire you

Hi I"ll be leaving for US this april on H4 visa (husband's dependent). Is it possible to get an employer to change my status from H4 to H1? Im already liscened as an RN in Vermont. Can I just file for reciprocity to Florida, where we'll be staying? thanks

hi cgfns emailed me that my CES report for Vermont was mailed already. Does this means that Vermont BON will receive a copy of the report and will it cover all those pending status that I have such as "Verified licensure as RN in the country of graduation or proof of eligibility for such licensure", Graduated from an approved educational program preparing persons for entry into practice of Registered nursingand why are they asking for application to testing service? When you re apply does it mean that you have to sit for another NCLEX-RN exam again? I emailed them and I got this reeponse " As of today's date, we will retain exam results and they will not be destroyed. Once you have obtained a U.S. Social Security Number (SSN) and wish to reapply at a later date, you would need to submit only application requirements." They did not answer me directly. From what I understand I just need to submit all the documents again, minus taking the exam again. I really need help on this matter.
