EMORY MSN FNP 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello, I wanted to start a thread to see if anybody has heard from Emory's early admission round to the MSN FNP part-time 2020 program. The release date was set for Aug 16th and I haven't heard anything yet, making tomorrow almost 2 months late. When I reach out I am told it will be a couple more weeks with no other information and it has been about a month since the last time I reached out. I wanted to see if anybody else was in the same position? Thank you for any information provided.

@aspiringcnm3 thanks for letting me know!! I guess I just have to stay patient and hope for the best ? congrats on getting in!! that's amazing, I'm so happy for you ?

Hi all! I just had my meeting with the asst. admissions director & she said financial aid packets should be sent out mid-January

Is anyone planning on attending the admitted students day on Feb 1? I will be coming from the west coast!

I will be there! I am going to get there Friday, and I will stay till Sunday. I scheduled appointments to look at apartments.

Guys I've officially lost all hope. I applied by the Oct. 15 deadline and STILL haven't heard anything back. I've called the office numerous times and have been told the same things: you'll be notified via email once your application has been processed or I will have an adviser give you a call back by the end of the day ?

Super disappointed by the lack of communication and unprofessionalism...

Specializes in BSN, RN Critical Care.

Hey Guys! I applied to the final round of Applications for Emory MSN in Acute Care NP; deadline was Jan 17th 2020, I found out last night that I have Been accepted ! I’ve been accepted to both Mercer and Emory. Who am I meeting this fall??!! Can’t wait to start with you all!

I’m accepted for my MSN in acute care too! I think you’re the first other person I’ve heard of in our program!

Really?? I wonder why many people don’t look into Acute Care? It’s very broad and you can literally go anywhere with it !

Hello, have you heard from them yet? I hope you did ?

I got accepted to the MSN program a couple weeks ago for the Fall 2020 cohort! Has anyone started a facebook? I'm going to specialize in adult-gero primary care but may switch to acute care. Excited to meet all of you.

Are we allowed to switch tracts ?

I’ll start a FB page for MSN students; I had found one that was absn and MSN but I was told that it was only for absn-MSN students .. so I kindly stopped liking that page .
can you guys drop names so I can invite you ?

Great!

Not generally! I'd probably be adding on extra classes/clinical and I'd have to get approval. I did my BSN at Emory.
