Emory Master of Nursing (MN) 2021

The Fall 2021 application for Emory opens tomorrow so I wanted to create this thread for people to connect, share experiences with the application process, and stats (if you choose to). Good luck everyone!!

Hi! I was recently accepted today to the AMN program for Fall 2021. I’m so excited to meet everyone! To those waitlisted, you will be on my prayer list. To those denied, I will pray for you as well! I originally applied for a similar accelerated master’s of nursing program closer to home at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and was denied for the Spring 2021 admission. So believe me, I know the feeling. I know how nerve wracking and discouraging it can feel, but have faith!

Anyone know if theres a facebook group or groupchat going around for those admitted?

Does anyone know how many scholarships they award? The price of the MN program is making me ?

Anyone know if we are getting an accepted students packet in the mail with information about admitted students day? I can't find anything online about it.

Mine says the exact same thing! I did email ---------------------. I applied to AG-PCNP and I was nervous that it did not specify on my acceptance letter.

We are pleased to let you know that you have been selected for admission to the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing’s Accelerated Master of Science in Nursing (Prelicensure+MSN) program for the 2021 enrollment cycle. As an admitted student in the Priority Decision round, you are now under consideration for our merit-based scholarship opportunities.  Students selected for these awards will be notified by email in mid-December 2020. "

 

LOL where is the specialty part???

I saw in previous years' threads that the letter doesn't mention specialty and you're admitted for the one that you applied for ? mine didn't mention a specialty

I have the same exact message. I'm assuming I got accepted to the specialty that I applied for.

@aroberts1312 @fmbean  I see! Congrats to y'all! I chose acute care. Out of curiosity, what specialties did you guys choose? And have you finished the ps?

Hey Everyone!

I just found out on Friday that I was admitted for the Fall Master of Nursing program! I am still over the moon and cannot believe it! To those of you that have already been admitted, congratulations! To everyone that is waitlisted or that didn't get in, DO NOT GIVE UP! Kennesaw State told me I wasn't good enough for their program in 2016, and now, I'm going to be an Emory University nurse! DON'T EVER LOSE SIGHT OF YOUR DREAMS! 

I was hoping to find & network with more of you guys that were also admitted for the MN! Has anyone started a facebook group yet? If not, I'd be happy to start one if anyone is interested! Let me know! Congratulations guys! Can't wait to meet some of you!
