Emory Master of Nursing (MN) 2021

The Fall 2021 application for Emory opens tomorrow so I wanted to create this thread for people to connect, share experiences with the application process, and stats (if you choose to). Good luck everyone!!

FAFSA UPDATE:

So I received a call today from ------------------------ in Financial Aid, she wasn’t available yesterday so I spoke with someone else, and she said that the FAFSA should say graduate student, not fifth year. The MN is only a year old so apparently they aren’t giving the correct information when they’re saying to mark off 5th year. I asked her like 4 times if she was sure, LOL

I just know I'm going to mess up the FAFSA. I'm applying to UPENN as well and they are want us to apply as 5th yr students for their second BSN. I am also applying to Hopkins and they said to apply as a college graduate. I spoke to FAFSA customer service and they essentially told me to apply to Penn, wait till that processes as a 5th year, and then add Hopkins and Emory and change myself to a graduate student.

And congrats to everyone who got in! Get some takeout and pop in a good movie tonight ?

Did you end up hearing back? I applied Oct 22 and haven't heard back so I'm assuming I'm going to have to wait till Jan 15th

Also for those who just missed the deadline, I do believe Emory does some type of rolling admission. I submitted my app in late September for the priority deadline 10/15 and heard back 10/26. Maybe its based on the program (I applied to the MN). So hopefully your decision will come sooner than you think!

I did not receive an email ? There will be a status update once you log into your Fall 2021 application! I am rooting for you!!!!!!!

Didn't receive an email, but saw a status updated on my application page. Accepted for midwifery! ❤️ congrats to all!

I don't understand whats going on. I applied for the early decision August 1st. Decisions were supposed to go out August 21st. I still haven't received a decision and every time I call or email I get the run around, or "The decisions will be released as soon as we receive them. Im sure we will receive them soon". Im generally really patient but we are going on 3 months late now...

I believe something may be off and I'll have to talk to admissions. I got a call 2 days ago about applying to InEmory and still getting my results today. I opted in for it, but I believe something may have been miscommunicated
