Emory Master of Nursing (MN) 2021

The Fall 2021 application for Emory opens tomorrow so I wanted to create this thread for people to connect, share experiences with the application process, and stats (if you choose to). Good luck everyone!!

Hey! I am applying for the midwifery program. I am hoping to do the early decision. I have already submitted my transcripts, and 2 letters of recommendations. I need to write my personal statement. I know emory is competitive. I hope my stats are good enough !

I wish you the best of luck!! I’ve submitted my transcripts, but letters of recommendation aren’t required for the new MN Pre-Licensure program. I hope my stats are good enough too! I’m applying by the early decision deadline as well.

Hi everyone!

Also applied to the MN entry into nursing program. I have everything submitted except for a transcript from the Summer nutrition course that finishes in 2 weeks that I'm taking at an outside institution and then I'll have all the materials in before August 1st! I have submitted my application as well! I have completed the pre-licensure verification form but I still see that it is "awaiting" for all my prerequisite courses. Is this the same for everyone as well?

Yes! In posts from previous application cycles, people said that the status of pre-reqs does not change until your application is being reviewed.

I was surprised that letters of recommendation are not requested for the program!

Does anyone know after the payment and uploading all the additional documents, does that essentially mean our application is "complete"? Do we have until 8/1 (early decision deadline) to upload everything if we have not?

I think we have until 8/1 to upload documents!

Hi there! I'm applying to the MN Pre-Licensure program too ? I submitted everything I have available (resume, personal statement, transcript from undergrad, prereq form).

I'm also looking to apply for the early decision! One of the Summer classes I'm taking right now ends on 7/16, so I'm just hoping the transcript is finalized by the 8/1 deadline.

Is anyone else still completing prereqs? I know on the information page it says you can apply while pre-reqs are still in progress, but the x's on the one's I haven't finished yet are making me anxious ? haha.
