Emory's Master of Nursing (MN) Pathway to Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

I'm looking for clarity within Emory's MN to MSN program.

I am interested in applying to Emory nursing program.

I apologize in advance for the long summary just want to be as detailed as possible to get the best advice.

One of the requirements is a PREFERRED 3.0 GPA. Unfortunately undergrad was a tough experience for me. Originally when I went off to school at the young age of 18 I had someone very special supporting me. Life of course happens as time goes on and that person passed as well as another close family member. It sent me into a deep depression as well as caused me to pay for my own school to support myself financially. It was a private institution so as you can imagine it was pretty pricey. I then had to manage working full time and school full time. I unfortunately ended up with a 2,8 GPA. Which is something that bothers me because I know I was capable of better but I let my circumstances get the best of me. I went to on to Grad School and obtained a 3.5 GPA in Cannabis Science at University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. I'm hoping my drastic change in my academic ethics will show my true capability. I really want to apply but have a fear of rejection. I also have about 4 pre requisites I would have to finish by the start of Emory's program if I am accepted which would also boost my GPA. Any feedback or advice is greatly appreciated. Especially if you have a similar experience.
