Emory Master of Nursing (MN) 2021

Updated:   Published

The Fall 2021 application for Emory opens tomorrow so I wanted to create this thread for people to connect, share experiences with the application process, and stats (if you choose to). Good luck everyone!!

Hi all!

For everyone who has applied for both early decision and priority, did you notice a green "admission deposit" button on your OPUS before acceptance? Or is it there regardless of admission decision?

I also have that! Hoping it's good news!

Does anyone know if it's possible to fill out multiple FAFSA forms? I haven't decided on the Emory MN yet and I also applied to an ABSN program. Will I just have to pick one to try and get aid from?

I think it is one form per year but you can always make amendments.

oh my! I don't have that. What does that OPUS page look like with the deposit button?

Sorry I keep asking qs- I really don't want to mess up the FAFSA! For MN applicants on FAFSA you're answering these questions on the app as followed:

What college degree or certificate will you be working on when you begin the 2021-2022 school year? 2nd bachelors degree

What will your college grade level be when you begin the 2020-2021 school year? 5th year, other undergraduate

Thanks!

Yes that is correct

One FAFSA per academic calendar year, just add all of the schools you’re applying to on that one form.

Did anyone get a decision today yet? I probably won't because I submitted on October 16th instead of 15th, but I'm still hopeful.

Yes, I edited it.

Is it a possibility to hear back today if you submitted just a little after the Oct 15th deadline?

it's possible. Someone on this thread had that happen.

I just logged into OPUS, and next to where it says application received, there is a small icon labeled “I”. When I click on it, it tells me to view my admissions decision on the portal, and when I checked the portal, there is no decision notification. Honestly, I’m 99% sure it is not an acceptance anyways. Good luck to everyone still awaiting decisions!

Hey all,

I never received an email saying that my application had been updated, but when I checked the application management portal it said there had been a status update. I was accepted! Wishing you all swift acceptances. Good luck!
