Emory Master of Nursing (MN) 2021

The Fall 2021 application for Emory opens tomorrow so I wanted to create this thread for people to connect, share experiences with the application process, and stats (if you choose to). Good luck everyone!!

Thank you! Do you know if we have to fill out FAFSFA for 2020-2021 and 21-22 or just 21-22? I know some schools want both.

Ahh then it's probably different because you are doing just the MN portion, which makes sense and that is also what I assumed at first when I was filling mine out haha. I was doubting myself so I emailed again last night (to the email you mention in your post) to make sure and this was the response I got this morning. I guess it is different for MN and MN+MSN so I'm glad that we were able to clarify this ?

Has anyone that applied back in August for the early decision MSN been notified of their decision as yet? The decline was August 1st and decisions were supposed to be made August 21st.

I filled out both because another school that I was applying to started in the Spring instead of Fall, I think the 2021-22 is fine since this program begins in the Fall. I'd send an email just to make sure.

Yes that makes sense, LOL! I'm glad they're updating the website, it's so confusing when you're trying to figure things out especially because they named it a Masters when it's technically not.

I'm not sure what to do because one of the schools I'm applying to wants me to apply as a graduate student...

I would contact them if you applied before that deadline and still haven't heard back. I'm still waiting to hear but I didn't apply until September.

Does anyone know how many people are admitted to the program and how big the class sizes are? Thanks!

Sorry I keep asking qs- I really don't want to mess up the FAFSA! For MN applicants on FAFSA you're answering these questions on the app as followed:

What college degree or certificate will you be working on when you begin the 2021-2022 school year? 2nd bachelors degree

 

What will your college grade level be when you begin the 2020-2021 school year? 5th year, other undergraduate

I'm still a little confused! What about the other schools that we have applied to that are all ABSN? We can only choose one option (5th year undergrad vs. grad), right?

Hi all!

For everyone who has applied for both early decision and priority, did you notice a green "admission deposit" button on your OPUS before acceptance? Or is it there regardless of admission decision?

Also, I just noticed that I now have a green button that says pay admissions deposit. Does this mean I got accepted? My application status still says admitted.

I just got one on my page and I had the same question. I'm hoping this means we are accepted but I'm not sure
