Emory Fall 09

Is anyone applying or have applied to Emory for the Fall 09 Semester. I have read in other threads from a couple of years ago that if you apply in November that you can here if you are accepted in January. Is that true? I have applied for the second degree program.

lcamp99, i'm so sorry to hear about your news, but it sounds like you have a strong head on your shoulders and i'm sure you'll make a wonderful nurse! i'm still anxiously waiting to hear about my decision and am going stir crazy!

Congrats to all who were accepted! I've had limited internet access these past few days because I moved. Those who are still waiting keep your heads up and also those who didn't make it. You should be proud of all of your accomplishments and you will end up in the school you are supposed to be.

Hello! My overall gpa 3.7, science gpa 3.5.

Not sure what my overall GPA is now, but I left undergrad with a 3.5 (including a bad first couple years that I had to make up for in spades when I returned 8 years later!). Since then, I've gotten a 4.0 in all my science pre-reqs over the past year. I've been told they care more about success in your science courses than any others, so don't worry too much about overall GPA if you've done well in science!

I wish I could join you guys in that thready odooma, but I'M STILL WAITING :banghead: I checked my OPUS account today and they updated something on my financial aid to do list, but they can't update my decision?! I ran home during my break b/w chem lecture and lab and NOTHING. Why do they make me wait so long??? I swear someone is getting a kick out of posting everyone's decisions except mine!
