  1. I did not go to the transfer orientation but i think you are charged a fee no matter what. but it is not mandatory.
  2. I am so damn jealous it not even a month before school start, the summer class aint even over yet. EVERYBODY in my class found out at the most 2 weeks before school started, some even found out a day before orientation.I had to move about 1000 miles away in a week. but I digress. LOL CONGRATULATIONS!!!
  3. Are you sure it is not just to FAMU it self because it not even Aug. so I am very shocked. how did they tell you
  4. Being in the unknown is typical for famu. I am only 3rd semester so Im personally is not thinking about the NCLEX but like I said before the school is designed to pass the NCLEX. I did not apply for financial aid early enough to get anything and I am out of state student. Since I dont know your financial situation I could tell you any thing but apply early (like march). I applied for housing a week before orientation and got it (but on campus suck). If you have questions asked
  5. they claim a high success rate I know one year they say 100% pass rate. but you will learn like I think many schools that the classes are made to pass the nclex and not many people who start graduate on time. and you have to pass a nclex like exam before you graduate
  6. I dont want you to think negative of the program because it is really what you make it and everybody is different....and like you said at the end I going to get that degree with a 3.5 so I am not complaining. The teacher are very hard to explain if they are good or not it feels like your being thrown to the wolf, but as I heard compare to other schools you will feel prepared when you leave (this is just what I heard)
  7. Yes it is about a week before orientation. I luckly got on campus housing(dont know how) I personal do not like the program because they throw you in the wood with very little guidance. but it is a nursing program and pretty easiy especially since you have a ?3.7? you not going to have any problems. the area is a little bad but if you smart you wont have any problems (also close is relative IDK)
  8. Im in the program now. Your gpa is very good you will def get in. bout race when I started we had about 10 people out of 50 that were not black and famu is a really multiethinic school (in my opinion compared to the other HBCU i been to) send me a message if you have any other questions
  9. if you explain your it might be ok
  10. I had a 3.4 and I think alot of my classmate have around that GPA.
  11. I got in! :yeah::yeah: Did anybody else!!! Let me know
  12. I got in! :yeah::yeah: Did anybody else!!! Let me know
  13. Hello, I am so nervous about if I get accepted actually going. Like I posted before I am coming from Detroit, and I have never been to Florida. my biggest issue is that FAMU does not have any more on campus housing for fall 2010:mad: so that means in a week I have to pack my life, register for classes and find an apartment. I am really just venting and worried . But if anybody have any advice or any suggestions about housing nice safe areas fl (I am going to have a car, so distance is not a problem) please let me know as soon as possible. Thank You
  14. MJ when did FAMU lose it accreditation? please respond as soon as possible
