Emory applicant for 2011

Greetings everyone:

I just sent in my application for Emory University for next year. I was wondering if anyone else has applied or are planning to apply. Currently, I am taking classes at GPC. I would love to start a little support group. If anyone is a student at Emory and would like to offer some advice it would be much appreciated too. Good luck everyone!

@Je88: I am sure everything was in on time. I called and checked and they told me I would be considered for priority decision. I still haven't heard anything. Not sure what is going on. Pretty bummed, but what are you going to do.:icon_roll

I'm joining this thread late but I was also accepted!!! Congratulations to everyone else who was accepted! I'm so excited and can't wait to meet all of you and start nursing school in the fall at Emory! :)

Help! I can't log in to OPUS this morning! I keep trying and have re-entered my info a dozen times and retrieved my password, etc. What does that mean? I'm worried that means that I didn't get in!

@Je88. Same thing with me. I can't sign in too and i also haven't heard my results. As u said i hope it doesn't mean i didn't get in either.

I'm back in finally... but still says no decision yet.

Me too! May be i wasn't considered for priority admissions. I called and was told all decisions were up yesterday. Anyone who didn't get it yesterday should expect it by end of March. My God!! that's too long. I actually had everything in on time, but there was a mixed up with my transcript which was only settled after the deadline. I guess i have no option, but wait.

@Je88 - I wouldn't worry. I have had times where I wasn't able to access OPUS and then I would be able to. I highly doubt they would just block you the day after - that sounds like way too much coordination between departments and too quickly. I would try again in a little while.

I still don't have a decision online even though I got all my info in before the priority deadline. I called this morning and was told that my application may be in a small group they are still reviewing and the decision should be online by Friday. Hopefully that's not a bad sign.

Heads up to accepted students:

You have a new OPUS and Email address password!!

I had to call the IT desk and get it....and they will direct you to your new emory email and give you your new password :-)

Oh man. I also called this morning and was told that I am also in that small group. Not sure what it means, but at least I am not out yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.
