Greetings everyone:
I just sent in my application for Emory University for next year. I was wondering if anyone else has applied or are planning to apply. Currently, I am taking classes at GPC. I would love to start a little support group. If anyone is a student at Emory and would like to offer some advice it would be much appreciated too. Good luck everyone!
@hlee. No I had my Bachelor's out of US. I had thesame answer when i called, but got a reply to my email the next day that the TOEFL had been waived. You can attarch the Toefl requirements and send a mail explaining your situation.
Better send a mail through your OPUS account under ask OPUS.
@nikki164
My OPUS also said nothing for a long time. However about 1 month ago they updated it to say I had 4 "To-Do's" which 3 of those were completed this Fall. Other than that I haven't seen any other updates. I'm getting sooooo anxious though. They said we would hear back by February 1st and that is less than 1 week away. I can't wait to hear something.
@Williamhart1984 Accelerated BSN/MSN applicants will be notified on February 1st. I'm not sure about the BSN or BSN/MSN Segue applicants.
Good to know that the BSN decisions may be delayed, but here's hoping they aren't. This waiting part is no fun. I need some exams to distract me.
I turned in my FAFSA as well.
Does anyone know, the Experience Emory day is that geared towards people who have been accepted or those who are just wanting to look at going to Emory?

@hereicome. Do you have a bachelor degree from the U.S? Sorry for all the questions.. Emory told me the only times they waive the TOEFL score is if your are a U.S Citizen or if you have a bachelor degree from the U.S... So I don't know what to do now.. I don't know if I should take the test and send the score.. I want Emory to at least review my application! I worked so hard on it. =(
