Hi - I was recently accepted to Emory's Accelerated BSN/MSN Program for Summer 2010. Has anyone else been accepted?
i applied like jan 12 or something. i saw it on opus about a week and a half or two weeks ago, much to my surprise. i got the acceptance letter in the mail a few days after i saw it online. then earlier this week i got an email saying decisions were online. kinda unorganized.
does anyone know when scholarship decisions will be announced?
I didn't have everything done until Jan 12th and I found out February 1st! That's the date they said they were sending the last acceptance letters I thought... not 100% sure about that. I can't wait till the open house and meeting everyone!
I called financial aid yesterday and they said we would know something in March...
("hello all, i was wondering if anyone who applied closer to the jan. 15th deadline has heard back yet from Emory. I am driving myself crazy checking OPUS all the time.")
I submitted my application on Jan. 12th. I found my acceptance letter on OPUS on Feb. 1. I also got my official letter on Feb 5.
Good Luck!
Thanks for the info, I submitted my application on Jan. 13th and have yet to hear anything back. I know one of my transcripts wasn't received until late January, but I hope that doesn't totally undermine my application. (I had spoken to one of the admissions staff about it and sent in an unofficial copy)...I guess I'll just have to keep waiting

congrats when i finish school 2011, i am considering Emory. And like yourself I hope to be accepted. What are you going to study/specailize. What did they look at when you applied?
Hey everyone! I just noticed this post! I was accepted to the program in December! I applied really early. I haven't turned in my acceptance yet. I am waiting to go to the open house on Tuesday. To the person that posted the roommate announcement. I am interested in a roommate. My husband and I live in Athens and own a house there and he works in Athens. I will be living in Atlanta during the week but will be commuting back to Athens on the weekend. I am 25, non smoker, very quiet, study hard, etc. I am also looking to live within walking distance or at least on the emory bus line. I found a couple one beds for $500 which includes utilities, but I would prefer a roommate--I hate living alone! I wish we knew more about the program, but it looks like we will get info on Tuesday?!? My husband will try to come, but he has to work that day. I'm excited to meet everyone. Does anyone know how many were admitted?
