Emory ABSN Fall 2016

Hi!

Today was the priority deadline for Emory's ABSN program, and I've already heard back from them that I've been waitlisted. I submitted my application and all the materials early, but I was surprised they made a decision so early! Anyone else in the same boat?

I suppose it's better than a rejection, but so early in the process I'm a little confused about what it means to be on the waitlist.

My prereqs were all updated to a green check marks on Friday 11/6 and I received my acceptance email the following Monday 11/9. Hopefully you will hear something this week.

do you guys know how the waitlist works? Since there is 3 more deadlines in the application process, will we be reviewed again at each deadline? I was waitlisted also...

I'm starting to wonder if anyone gets a rejection this early in the game :/ I thought I would get denied for sure but I got waitlisted.

What sort of test scores?

They just asked for test scores. Said I could submit act, sat, gre or teas. I ended up submitting the TEAS, since I did really well on it. I hope it helps!

@Sav768 I am curious to know if you submitted the official TEAS report to the university. I am only asking because I still have a red check mark next to my TEAS score under my application checklist but Emory is not listed as a university on the ATI website to submit transcripts.

i agree with you. i think everyone who did not get in the first round got waitlisted.

I just called and was told they are revisiting the waitlist after Thanksgiving break!
