Specifically, sweating on my bum. Yes, really. It only happens when I'm stressed/nervous/busy, but unfortunately, in my specialty, that happens a LOT. I have tried Monkey Butt powder and Fresh liquid creme to powder to no avail. I have tried spray on deodorant and regular deodorant. I have tried monistat anti chafing gel.
I'm about ready to just throw in the towel and get botox injections to my behind. It's so embarrassing. Thankfully I have to wear hospital provided scrubs so I can change at the first sign of moisture, but man....I wish I could just keep a dry bum. :/
Wear compression shorts under your scrubs and maybe a dry washcloth between your cheeks. When I was a teen I had horrible sweating in my pits, tried every antiperspirant, md prescribed Drysol, it's a liquid dabber medication, it worked amazing but irriatTed my skin initially. So you'd have to be careful around your mucus membeanes
Walmart has microfiber undies that work well with the clinical strength deodorant, but unfortunately the only kind that work ok is the full on brief as opposed to the string bikini variety. Gold bond powder works good too over the deodorant.
I am constantly replacing shirts as no matter what deodorant I use I end up with arm pit stains.....
I have heat intolerance; the older I get, the worse it gets... and it gets hot where I live and work. In home healthcare, the older folks crank their heaters in the winter and wear sweaters; in the summer, the air conditioning is rarely on.
I have the luxury of not having to wear scrubs, so I wear moisture wicking polo shirts and, when I start to sweat, moisture wicking "dew rags."
Do an internet search for "moisture wicking scrubs;" you will find sources, a couple being: Scrubs, Nursing Uniforms, and Medical Scrubs at Uniform Advantage and Scrubs | Nursing Uniforms | Medical Scrubs - Tafford .
As far as underwear goes, again, "moisture wicking" is key. Try: Patagonia woman's baselayers and underwear: Patagonia Outdoor Clothing & Gear | Free Shipping over $75
I hope this helps!

Y'all are awesome! Thank you so much! Okay, I'm gonna try the Mitchum, and if that doesn't work, I'm going to try the sweat block sheets.
