Specifically, sweating on my bum. Yes, really. It only happens when I'm stressed/nervous/busy, but unfortunately, in my specialty, that happens a LOT. I have tried Monkey Butt powder and Fresh liquid creme to powder to no avail. I have tried spray on deodorant and regular deodorant. I have tried monistat anti chafing gel.
I'm about ready to just throw in the towel and get botox injections to my behind. It's so embarrassing. Thankfully I have to wear hospital provided scrubs so I can change at the first sign of moisture, but man....I wish I could just keep a dry bum. :/

boxers or briefs? cotton or nylon? Have you tried different ones for comparison?
Just thinking.

Well, cotton string bikini (female), and yeah, I definitely stick to cotton. I refuse to wear a thong, sorry. I can't stand the feeling of anything deliberately shoved INTO my crack. I wonder if like, I should try wearing bicycle shorts or something under my scrubs? Or maybe I really should just get botox injected....
Quazar - I am sooooo sorrrrrry. For whatever reason, I thought you were a guy. Never even bothered to check the little left-side pix. I think there was another recent post for same thing by a guy. And I was just thinking 'GUY". Duh ...
I was thinking if the undies were airy (flowing, not to likely to adhere) it might be helpful???
Just to ask - how does botox work for increased sweating? Again, I am so sorry.

Try a cotton blend underwear. It breathes better than 100% cotton.

Ask your PCP there are some meds that can help too.

OK... This is drastic, but it works: mitchum roll on clinical strength antiperspirant. After your shower, pat the area dry with a towel. Roll on the liquid liberally to the area that perspires. Now the time consuming part,... You need to point a fan at your bum and spread eagle. It has to dry completely. It took a good 5 min for my underarms.
Kind of a hassle, but you will not sweat!

I agree with GingerNursling... I used to have a similar issue. Incredibly embarrassing. I used a clinical strength antiperspirant, CertainDri (aluminum chloride). Applied to affected area per instructions, and it cleared me up within a week. Like a miracle... I would highly recommend it, and if it doesn't work, see your PCP.

I get sweaty patches just below my boobs, no idea why, it's only there. I've finally discovered Sweat Block for it. It comes in individually packaged sheets impregnated with the industrial grade (or something like that!) anti-perspirant, put it on approx once a week and it's made a major improvement. Can't say it's 100% perfect but will only get sweaty patches in extreme circumstances now.

Use a hair dryer to dry it, it's the only way or it'll take forever. I love that stuff for my underarms in the middle of summer. Put it onto dry underarms and nothing is getting through it.
