i know some of us have received our letters so i was wondering who else i will be making this journey with for the next 2 years.

my name is allison shaffer and it's nice to meet you. i know we will all be close because it's a small group. it would be nice to get to know some of you before november 17. :)

60 to 100 pages???

That's not a care plan! Thats a Dissertation!

That is a lot of pages. If a prof made me write a 100 page ANYTHING, he/she better read and comment on EVERY SINGLE PAGE!

How are you Funnie,? I don't remeber if you posted it, but how did you do on that algebra re-take? What classes are you in this semester?

:lol2: :lol2: :lol2: i don't know...the high school that i worked at frowned on 'the usage of red ink'...saying something stupid about the mental effects from seeing a bunch of red marks. :uhoh3: (....bunch of horse poop!) :uhoh3: i graduated from that school, and i can say that was definitely a new school rule. lol!

anyways, i'm great! :) how are you feeling these days? i made an a (93) in algebra!! :smiley_aa so....i reapplied with nlc as my first choice again, with a 4.0 on the pre-reqs & 4.0 on all 17 credits of the support classes completed. :balloons: :balloons: :balloons:

this semester, i've completed nutrition (a) & history 1302 (b) :uhoh3:(with an 88), and i'm currently taking an accelerated government 2302 class.

i'm taking the summer off, unless i take the online statistics class. :chuckle (i'll probably take a break.) god knows i need it!!!!!!!!!

What made the exam so hard? Just alot of info all on one exam, or alot of non-lecture stuff on it?

Thanks, the test was hard because most of the questions came from the book. There were a lot of pages to read and I couldn't remember every details. I also thought that she would base her test on her lectures not on the book. Anyway, now I have to read the book more and listen to the lectures less.

Clinicals are going ok. We are about to switch from surgical to medical unit. And we will have 2 patients with 4 mini nursing care plans. We are going to have fun. :clown:

Yeah- test 3 was alot harder than test 2. I reviewed my answers and I would have got 3 right if I would have just read through the entire question. That's so annoying! I hate when I do that during tests! Our class average was a 79 also. Can you believe we only have 4 more weeks?! YAY!!

ugggh, I hate when I do stupid things like that. On my last History 1302 exam, I changed 5 answers like an idiot. I would have had all 5 of them correct. Had I not second guessed myself, I would have made a 96, instead of an 86 on the exam, and would have made an A in the class. :angryfire

Oh well, if we pass, we pass, right?

I agree, my lecture instructor threw out 3 questions, so I now I have an 88. With the additional 6 points, our class average is 82.

I am thrilled that we only have 4 more weeks!!!!

I am going to do a Nurse Tech program this summer. Well I guess I will be working there from here on out (THR owns Arlington Memorial). After you complete your first semester with a 3.0, Arlington Memorial will hire you as a Nurse Tech, and then your senior year as a Inter/Extern. It's really cool b/c they will hire you as a RN in whatever department you choose! I'm also taking Pharmacology and Pathophysiology this summer. Wish me luck!!

Ok, I have made 86 on the third lecture test. The class average is 79 .

It was a really hard test. :o

But I have passed NGT feeding and medication today. :) :balloons:

I am taking patho and pharm over the summer also. That's awesome Brianna that you can work there. I have applied at Parkland, Charlton Methodist, and Baylor for a job as a nurse tech. I am hoping I will hear something. I just want to work the weekends though. I am so ready to quit this job during the weekday mess. It's hard....

Our midterm evaluations were on Tuesday and I got a good evaluation so that made me happy! I was really nervous about it! :uhoh3:

Now on to Fluids and Electrolytes!!! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH :uhoh21:
