El Centro students Spring '06

i know some of us have received our letters so i was wondering who else i will be making this journey with for the next 2 years.

my name is allison shaffer and it's nice to meet you. i know we will all be close because it's a small group. it would be nice to get to know some of you before november 17. :)

kathy, since the 16th will be lab day for you, until you guys start clinicals , you probably have to go to the school and check the board that is standing in front of the labs. I would go a few days before or maybe that monday, everything should be posted then, I have to do the same thing. I will also have lab (though mine is a scheduled lab). I will see you there probably.

ARGH! Still nothing posted on econnect! My curiousity is killing me! I've organized and dusted almost everything in my apartment just trying to kill time...I have a feeling we won't find out today either.....

I just took A&P II this fall at Mountain View and Mrs. Sutton was my instructor. She & Ms. Silva were supposed to go to some type of teacher's tour representing Mountain View. Before you go through the trouble, you might check with the science department at El Centro/North Lake to see if someone has already negotiated it for you. Just an idea, hope this helps.

They sent instructors a pass for a timed viewing (your time was limited) to act as a "preview" in case they wanted to bring students to it. They do have pre-figured student group pricing, but I'm not sure what it is yet (they didn't say when they sent the tickets). I'll find out tomorrow what it is. Talk to you all later!

I got St. Paul X2/week with an instructor I don't know. This was my 2. choice and I am happy with it.

And the payment due date is today. :uhoh3:

I got the same instructor for lecture and clinical! I've never had that before so it might be somewhat of an advantage...who knows. I will be at Presby 2x a week. I can't believe they post this and then payment is due today. What if there are people who aren't able to get on a computer today or something?! I think that's really rotten!! Oh well....no surprise really.

I'm just happy to know who I got and that it wasn't the instructor everyone dreaded!!!!!! :lol2:
