i know some of us have received our letters so i was wondering who else i will be making this journey with for the next 2 years.

my name is allison shaffer and it's nice to meet you. i know we will all be close because it's a small group. it would be nice to get to know some of you before november 17. :)

I Know, it must be so frustrating to you all, I don't understand why they did this to you , because the do date for payment is also the third of January. I payed my tuition even though I had financial aid pending, but when I call the financial aid office on the 22nd. of Dec. the lady said: "Oh it will transfer in time, on the 2nd......." Yeah right, like I'm gonna take that chance and gonna be dropped.....

I think it doesn't matter when you register- as long as you have it paid for within 10 days or so of registering. So our deadline for payment won't be until January 12th or so. It wasn't the nursing school's deadline- it was just based on being registered December 22nd so the payment would be due by January 2nd or so. I'm not so worried about it anymore but it is a little annoying that they didn't even tell us that we would have delay.

I'm sure they're waiting for the people to finish HESI case studies. They probably didn't even realize that those of us who didn't make the 900 point requirement (I won't say "fail" because an 898 is not failing) had to sign an Incomplete form. Wellllllllllll we can't register until that Incomplete is taken off and changed to the grade we earned in the semester soooooooooooo if all of these people can't register then they can't register everyone. It bugs me how they never think these things through!!!! When we were in the room to sign our Incomplete forms one of the teachers stopped and said, "Wait- these aren't valid unless the Dean signs them." It was like she had no idea what was going on! So I have a copy of an unsigned Incomplete form which is probably invalid...I just hope it all goes smoothly and I don't have to get angry :lol2:

It was awesome. My daughter was supposed to get the kid audio (I had it too so I could know what they were saying and answer her questions). We were in the first room in that 1st corner and she goes, "haha mom they said member." My first thought was that's not what I heard. So I listen to hers and she has the adult version...she was not at all interested when I swapped her for the kids version. She kept nabbing my little speaker. I want to go back again. I was thinking, since I teach at BH, I wonder if I can get a school group rate if we get a bunch that want to go back?? Would anybody be interested if I could? I've got to go take a shower and get some stuff done....time is getting short!

I'll call them this week and see if I can get a school group rate and what it would be, times available, etc. I have a question about school starting though. We start on the 16th, which is a clinical day for me (1st semester) would we just start in skills lab?? I haven't checked the schedule yet to see what times skills lab is because they said it could change up to the last minute. Anybody have any idea??

I had a skills lab the first day (Monday). We went over lab rules/paperwork and hand washing techniques. :)

I'd love to see the body worlds too!
